As usual had a lovely stay at the Travelodge, the staff are really friendly and the hotel is spotless and all government guidelines were followed. The lady on reception was very helpful and informative.
Stayed here a few times now and as always a warm welcome and pleasant stay. Everything is in easy reach, bus stop outside if you fancy going into town to visit any of the many excellent pubs. Toby Carvery within a few steps for breakfast. If i had one criticism and this is common to all Travelodge's, it that they must find a way to allow people to close the bedroom doors quietly! To be woken at 7 on a Sunday morning by someone taking their yapping dog for a walk is not that welcome!
No problems to report from Darlington Travelodge. Clean beds, room, and throughout hotel. Although full to capacity hotel remained quiet. Situated out of town but close to retail parks, supermarket plus fuel station. Easy access to A66.
Celebrating the reopening of English hotels, I checked in on their 1st night back and was greeted by the lovely Sue who was a real gem. I'd a 2nd floor room overlooking the car park at the furthest end of the corridor. I enjoyed a quiet night and a great sleep. The pillows were plump and the duvet cosy. Hot water arrived instantly, although the pressure to washbasin was on the low side. Just wish all Travelodges would replace those hard plastic chairs with the coloured padded ones.
Lovely staff and very clean hotel. Super comfy bed. Parking on site. Would definitely stay again. The perfect hotel when a good nights sleep is needed and prices are very reasonable too - an added bonus!
