Excellent site, good variety of roomy pitches with some near two fishing lakes. Woodland walks and nearby pub for food. On bus route to Poole. Good site with very good facilities including swimming pool. Friendly people.

A 1970's camping experience. A nice site, great pitches, but dated. Showers always worked as did electric hook up. Lots of traffic noise. No sign of staff. Hidy high campers. Lots of rabbits and owls. We camped here for 2 weeks, so survivable.

Awful! Rats seem to be resident campers! Nothing open, shop to open at 10am more like 11! Looks like the restaurant/bar area has been abandoned for years! This could be a great site of it was run properly!! The website needs a major update!!

Have stayed before because it is an ideal location for the Poole area and our specific requirements. Although convenient the showers, washroom and toilet block in exceptionally poor and dirty condition. Tried to enquire on-line, received no reply, and repeatedly rang to check. Eventually got a response and when prompted, booked and paid on line. When on site, saw no... More

Spent last night in this horrible place. Couldn't find the warden to check in, so found a site and hooked up. The facilities were disgusting. Dirt everywhere, putrid showers, the toilets were filthy, with something on the floor in one (I didn't look too close) and full urinals. We only stayed because we had our own facilities in the motorhome,... More

The site has the potential to be a good one but during our visit, we did not find it to be. Granted, we were there on August bank holiday weekend, but there is no excuse for some of the dirty conditions that we encountered. The shower block was dirty for the entire weekend with suspect brown smears on the cubical... More

Having stayed at beacon hill around 8 years ago my wife and I decided to return this time with our young children. I am surprised by the decline in the site over the years. The toilets and showers were not kept clean or replenished, with loo roll and hand wash frequently empty. The main site bins were overflowing with waste... More

We reserved weeks in advance but when we got there and were told which pitch to use, there was someone else already there. Back to the office and we were told that 'people come in at night and just go anywhere', so we were allocated a different pitch, but that was also in use. We were finally allocated a free... More

Before I go too far into this we did not stay in the main camping area. We approached the Touring Park asking if there was the possibility for us to come and stay over the Bank Holiday Weekend. We had, over the weekend, 20-30 people staying. We had let them know we would be on motorbikes and they did not... More

Firstly a big thank you to Beacon Hill touring park for being so welcoming. The facilities are for camping, therefore if you want five star luxury this probably isn't the place for you. However the staff were friendly, there were facilities, some of which you may not get at other camp sites and if you want a sparkling toilet floor... More
