I planned on taking my husband to a nice weekend away in Poole. I had booked the place a day before we arrived and the room we were given was small and positioned above the kitchen exhaust. This meant that we heard the exhaust every other minute and were very unhappy. Apparently the staff weren't aware of our booking until...

The staff here are always fantastic - smiling with attentive service. I had a groupon voucher for fish and chips which was so disappointing. The fish was so scrawny and had hardly any meat on it. The mushy peas were disgusting with the chips average. The waiter can tell if the meal was good when they pick up nearly two...

Friendly staff but soooo slow. We ordered one oyster each before the starter, but it was brought with the starter 40 minutes later. We did mention this, so the waiter took it off the bill. The service was slightly quicker after that, but once the food was done, no sign of the waiter! We had to get up out our...

There were six of us on busy Saturday night. Service was a bit slow but food was cooked properly and all arrived at the same time both starters and main courses all very tasty and fresh. Desserts perhaps not the best choice or good value so I would not have a dessert on a return visit. Drinks are a bit...

The four of us went to lunch last Saturday.we waited quite a long time for our order. The food was not as good as it used to be,for example our mussels had big lumps of curry paste. It seemed that our waiter was new but he was not given any support. We will wait until we see some improvements before coming...

Arrived in late afternoon in november. Small bedroom was very cold, but there was an electric fire provided. It only had 3 legs but I managed to prop it up with a shoe! About 45 mins later the room was sufficiently warm to risk a shower. Wifi worked well, but had to to unplug the radiator in order to plug...

Lovely. Great service. Very friendly staff and no rush. The lobster was so fresh and the eggs cooked to pefection. It was a delightful breakfast, lobster, champagne, orange juice, toast and coffee. Cant wait to go back for the mussel's. Will book again. Cant wait.

We have been coming here for quite some time, my fiancé even longer... years. I think today was the last . We sat down, left and ignored by the staff for a long time. When we did get to order and get service it was a manager we'd never seeing before: Paul. He was very abrupt, rude as well. Just...

What didnt we like! Where the bloody hotel was situated. Being a short walk from Poole harbour, is a bloody joke. Our trip was based on being near to Poole Harbour, not stuck up a steep hill no where near the area we had booked into. This hotels description needs to be changed, our few days away was ruined and...
