We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Poole, we choose Jessamine b&b for our base due to the good reviews on here, we were not disappointed.
Doug and Deb were fabulous hosts, from the minute we arrived they were warm welcoming and friendly.
The rooms were spotless, fresh and comfortable, stocked with a variety of drinks and biscuits etc, the small fridge was a bonus stocked with water and fresh milk.
The plentiful towels provided were white, luxurious and fluffy.
Bathroom toiletries were good quality.
Beds were very comfortable, we slept well.
Breakfast in the open plan kitchen dinner was really beautifully presented and a lovely variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, homemade conserves, fresh made cake, toast, fresh brewed coffee and selection of fruit juices and much more and we could not fault the cooked breakfast, nothing was rushed or too much trouble.
Deb and Doug chatted while cooking and serving, also giving us information and advice on the local area and places to visit. We celebrated 2 birthdays in our family while there and they even presented cake with candles ….they really made us feel special.
There is so much more we want to explore in poole and surrounding areas so we will be returning and 100% booking again to stay at Jessamine or coast 77 as it is soon to be renamed.

The accommodation is within the owner's house on the ground floor but separate from them. Access is through the front door and rooms are off the hallway.
Our room was small but sold as a small room. It was perfect for us as we only needed a base and somewhere to sleep.
Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed with hooks on doorbacks to hang things and tea coffee chicolate biscuits, hairdryer etc. Nice big fluffy towels and comfy bed.
There was even a small fridge for the fresh milk and bottled water provided.I think the hosts have thought about what they would like in a room and thoughtfully provided it for their guests.
Breakfast was excellent. Fruit, cereals, yoghurt, choice of cooked breakfasts, toast, croissants home made jams.
It was freshly cooked and delicious.
The hosts were friendly and informative giving all sorts of tips about local buses so you didn't have to drive into Poole and experience the high car parking fees! They were very nice people helpful friendly.

Lovely 2 night stay with Debs and Doug. Despite being a very busy couple they were very welcoming and the B and B is kept very clean - adhering to all covid rules. We stayed in the small room which was adequate for two of us and well decorated with lovely linen and fluffy white towels. Breakfast was first class with lots of choice and perfectly cooked whilst having great chats with our hosts. There is a pub five minutes walk away serving good meals and has a pleasant garden . It’s a pleasant 2 mile walk through a pleasant park into Poole Quay or a bus ride from the stop outside the house enabling us to leave our car safely parked at Jessimine. Altogether we had a great two night stay and would certainly recommend Jessimime to anyone if they are in the area.

Before we booked I went on Google earth to check out location etc , as I usually do . This b and b is not however as it would appear on Google earth . It’s like the tardis inside , very spacious, Morden , very clean . Car park just out the front door with plenty of room . If you need the bus to town , that is just outside the driveway, every 20 mins .Every thing you need is in the room , tea making facilities, tv , fridge , (the bed in the studland room was massive) washing, shampoo .Breakfast was in the main part of the home , which had everything from continental, to good old English full breakfast which was cooked whilst we was there. Our host Deb and Doug was very accommodating not in an overpowering way either . We had some good chats with them and the other guest at the breakfast table. Food was excellent. This is the first time we have booked a b and b , didn’t quite know what to expect having usually stayed at hotels. It’s the fact your sharing someone’s home . Assumption was soon put aside as we were very welcomed and didn’t feel awkward at all. If there was a rating definitely 10

We were looking for 2 night stay in aug' I called up and they were full. But within 5 mins Deb called me back to say a room had become available, we had a dog as well.

From start to finish we were made welcome and looked after.

The room was good, and the breakfast excellent.

The location is within 30 to 40 min drive of all the main tourist spots

I would have no hesitation in returning, so if you are looking for a B and B in Poole look no futher.

Strongly recomend

Wonderful 4 night stay at Doug and Debs b&b eggcelent breakfast nothing too much trouble. We arrived early and Debs paused to make us a cup of tea then carried on cleaning with the help of her son who was a wiz with the hoover.
We also met Emily and Jack a lovely couple who were also staying at the same time, it was Em’s birthday and over breakfast Debs brought out a cupcake with a candle and we all sang happy birthday it was a lovely touch by Debs.
Debs also happily did some of our washing as it was stonkingly hot and we were running out of clean clothes.
Deb and Doug thank you for a lovely stay and hope you enjoyed a nice bottle of wine on us.

I can’t praise Deb and Doug enough, just had a fabulous time and they really helped us to plan our days - nothing was too much trouble. You couldn’t meet nicer people, so lovely and welcoming. The b&b is spotless, spacious parking, the rooms are lovely, freshly decorated and the breakfast was delicious. It’s easy to walk into Poole town (takes about 25 mins) and only 5 mins walk to the beach. I couldn’t have picked better accommodation it was perfect! Will definitely be back - see you soon! X

What a wonderful place to stay! On arrival we pulled on to a huge driveway with ample free parking. Our en-suite room was perfect with plenty of space for the three of us. (2 adults and 1 child) Breakfast was amazing with every option available from cereal to a full English. Our hosts Debbie and Doug were wonderful. They were attentive to our needs but respectful of our privacy and most of all really, really nice people who made us feel very welcome in their home. I'ts not too far to walk into Poole but if you don't want to walk there's a bus stop right in front of the house. Bonus!
Our 5 day stay with Debbie and Doug was awesome and came to an end all too quickly. I would highly recommend staying at their lovely B&B. and we will definitely be going again!

We had a lovely stay at Coast 77. The hosts are fantastic, friendly, full of local knowledge and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The breakfasts are tasty and plentiful; you'll be set up for the day.
The rooms are well equipped (we were in Studland Room), comfortable and have all the amenities you need plus little luxuries like mints and extra coffee options.
There is parking on site and you are ideally located for Poole, the local beach or exploring the surrounding area.
Very much recommended....in fact, we're already booked for another stay in August.

It was so lovely to host you both and I’m glad you had a lovely trip. Dorset is so beautiful and Doug will enjoy suggesting further tips on amazing days out. When you return in August you might want to consider a SUP or kayaking adventure in Poole Harbour exploring the islands. Take good care both of you and we really look forward to catching up on your news in August. I will try and book some fabulous weather for your next stay. :-)
