The manager Louise was amazing , nothing was to much trouble. Everything was moved to suit us. The food was excellent. The staff very helpful & lovely. It was very good value too. We would strongly recommend. Our room had stunning views across to Sandbanks.

We visited Salterns Hotel for our Christmas Dinner with work colleagues. Standard 3-course meal (soup, turkey, pudding) with disco for a rather steep £32.50. What a great disappointment! I understand that group evenings may be difficult to cater but, if the establishment cannot offer good quality and value then they really should not arrange such events and stay with their...

I booked a night stay for my sister and nephew as a present for her birthday and for a beautifully located hotel it certainly requires some love and attention. We checked in and were welcomed adequately. The reception was clean and presentable, the receptionist was friendly and dealt with our booking fairly quickly. When entering the room it was apparent...

Our breakfasts were served on stone cold plates the first day, and this meant our meal was cold. The next day I asked if the plates could warned and this was done, however on...

My wife and I stayed here for a week and our first impressions were great. We were warmly greeted by reception and the room was nice with a lovely view of the harbour. How ever things were to change , firstly our room consisted of a double and single bed next to each other, not a problem except the double...

Spent a night here, loved the location right on the water. It must be wonderful in the summer with all the water activities available. Room and stay was great, staff very pleasant. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful
