We have stayed at the Du Vin in Poole four times to date. The first visit was exceptional, you really couldn't fault it. The location is one of the best, just off the Quay in a quaint part of Old Town. The grade 2 listed building is quirky and full of character. All the rooms we've stayed in have been... More

Very attentive service - topped up the orange juice and elderflower water during the meeting. Checked whether it was right to serve the lunch when it was requested, as someone was giving a presentation. Service quick for the number of ladies present, however the food wasn't very hot. Food was lovely - I had a Vegetarian red pepper stuffed with... More

Room was lovely, one of the best we've ever stayed in, location okay, but was disgusted to have to pay £10 to park in their car park and wad not told about this when checking in. Will not be staying there again.

This hotel is in a superb location close to the quayside in Poole, the restaurant and bar area look cosy and inviting and bar and reception staff were professional and helpful, we didn't eat dinner here. The hotel is old and rambling, and in need of some general updating in places. Rather expensive for the quality in general. The rooms... More

Lovely terrace and warm ambiance indoors. The food selection is great as well as wine selection if you are a wine lover. IT is located centrally in Poole and easy to find. the food was good. Staff friendly and responsive.

Second time we have stayed here on their Sunday stopover deal. Well situated in the heart of Poole. Upgraded to a superior room which was up a few flights of very narrow stairs (might be worth mentioning if you have any problems with stairs when booking), but this is an old converted building. The room was spacious as was the... More

We paid £240 for a night b&b so not cheap. We booked a superior double - it was on ground floor by the pavement so either had people peering in or had heavy curtain shut. Room was nicely appointed but smelt musty.. Friendly staff a good breakfast with nice touches like individual bottles of OJ and jars of granola. Well... More

I stayed one night on business. First time at this hotel, which has the hotel du vin quirkiness I have come to expect. Service and food good. Really liked the décor, Room was a long way from reception in a separate part of the hotel up a couple of narrow flights of stairs. Room was very dark (lighting not great)... More
