Fully enjoyed my stay. Had the sea view room and the quality of the beach made me feel like i was abroad. Great friendly hotel with great staff. Would defiantly be staying here again. Would recommend sea view rooms tho.

First impression, kerb appeal not good, disabled parking cordoned off due to work being done, fish tank in foyer was really in need of a good clean. At this point I was very apprehensive but the staff were very welcoming we had entry to our room early. Our room looked freshly decorated, had a new carpet and superb view of...

Hotel is in desperate need of an overhaul. The outside is an eyesore with paint falling off, steam cleaning needed, gutters full everywhere. Inside everywhere has scrape marks etc. I had a balcony room and was very disappointed for £125 a night. Heating makes an awful noise, tv control kept together with duck tape, radiator in bathroom not working and...

My wife booked a night for us at Sandbanks to celebrate a special anniversary. I haven't been here since a family holiday when I was a child 40 years ago, and first impressions made me feel disappointed and sad. The hotel is very tired looking. Our room, whilst spacious, was tatty. Our 'double' bed was in fact two singles pushed...

We booked to stay here for the night, on our way home, after a short break staying in a lovely 4 star hotel in Jersey, as a Birthday celebration. I booked a sea view room overlooking the beach, as that is what we had in Jersey. I had great expectations, seeing as the room at the Sandbanks was double the...

Lovely hotel, in the most idyllic location. Staff are brilliant, food good. My only criticism is that it needs some TLC. The outside looks tired and in desperate need of a coat of paint. Nothing much in Sanbanks itself. If you are into water sports it is a great place to be.

Planned a night away in Bournemouth and decided to treat ourselves to Sandbanks, with its reputation and position. So disappointing. This hotel is seriously in need of the hotel inspector!! Where do I start... 20 minutes to get parked in the car park, with spaces taken by boats and canoes, not related to the hotel Lobby has a huge fish...

I stayed one night for a business meeting next day, the hotel was clean, friendly and easy to find and park, the general hotel is slightly tired, but no complaints, the room was small but with great views and was clean and warm, breakfast was a buffet, all fresh and very good.

Our daughters paid for a 2-night stay. The room was of a good size. The bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Particularly recommend the Ocean Palace Chinese - the second restaurant in the hotel. Excellent, authentic food.

This is a fouth visit in 2 years, the same high standard, staff a major part of our visit very polite and helpful. The food was presented with care to detail and wine was a fair price. The breakfast would be the envy of many other hotels.
