After visiting the hotel several times before for drinks and even for work, my partner and I decided to stay for one night between Christmas and new year to escape the madness. The reception staff who checked us in were both friendly and professional and the staff in the bar were the same. We went to the Sandbanks hotel (same...

Firstly, the place was blowing out cold air on a cold day which certainly didn't make sitting down for lunch that enjoyable. I was looking forward to this lunch as the group I was with had told me what a special place it was for them. To be honest, I felt poorly for the people in the party as it...

Had a family lunch here recently midweek. Have to say the views are amazing. I've had the pleasure to enjoy them on several previous visits and they are stunning. Our lunch on this last visit was alright. It was a bit cold in the dining area and we were told 'well its a cold day'. Smart. To the food. Bass...

We had the chateaubriand and it was...

The rooms are comfortable but again, in need of a...

Service good, staff friendly, the highlight is the resturant menu, curried mussels are delicious. Great breakfast freshly cooked with spectacular views over Poole harbour. Rooms good and comfortable for one night stay.

The crab sandwich and the salmon sandwich were very tasty and the portions were generous. We thought that the view over Chessil Beach was spectacular. We will remember this visit for ever. Good place to have lunch.
