We had a fantastic stay, the place was BEAUTIFUL. I don't normally write reviews but Grovefield Manor deserves the praise. It has been tastefully decorated, it's clean, warming and spacious, all the little things have been thought of and it has a relaxed yet attentive environment. Thank you Chris and the team, we will definitely return.

Needed a hotel overnight to attend a friends party locally. This seemed very reasonable so we were not expecting too much. What a delight. A beautiful old building that has been decorated with great taste and kept all of its lovely features. Room and bathroom were gorgeous and the owners charming. A full english was included, which was freshly cooked... More

Unfortunately we only stayed there overnight before our ferry the following day. It was so much more than we expected and the manager was very nice and informative about places to eat in the area. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable and everything about the place was just lovely. Thoroughly recommend and I hope to go back... More

We stayed in the Dolphin apartment allowing us to cook for ourselves but have breakfast in the hotel (excellent breakfast ). Very comfortable and quiet; well equipped and well placed - 5 minutes walk down a footpath to the beach; 25 minutes to the ferry terminal.

We booked in whilst driving from Brighton and were very pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of the establishment. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was huge and the bed a real king size. It was very comfortable. The bath was a welcome indulgence although it took forever to fill with the very low water pressure. The... More

We stayed as a couple for one night. The host was very pleasant. The hotel is well kept and clean. Unfortunately I do not feel that the value of £160 per night is warranted. (We stayed in a four poster room). There is no actual bar here and the drinks are served from a slide hatch in the reception, for... More

This is a quaint little hotel with a friendly atmosphere and some old and quirky furniture and fittings. Well situated near to the beach and a very helpful proprietor giving information regarding local restaurants and sights. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and would definitely return.

We luckily found this b&b at the last minute whilst searching for a 3 day break. Very handy for the beach near Branksome Chine. Very clean, quiet and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Children excluded, so no good for families with kids. Will stay again.

We stayed here over the weekend of the airshow. We had a smashing room... Very comfy. Parking was great. A short walk to the beach and breakfast was lovely. Overall a great base, good food and helpful informative staff. Would happily stay here again.
