I've stayed in both Holiday Inns in Stevenage and I can honestly say I would recommend the express over its sister. Rooms are modern and really well cared for and the staff and Sophie run the place well with a happy atmosphere, a must whilst working away at the minute

Really clean and good measures in place in the current climate. Quick and simple breakfast included. Would stay again and recommend especially for business users. Great value and very central, parking is validated.

I have stayed here a couple of times before and I’m pleased to say that everything was spot on. Jade on reception checked me in, she was cheerful and helpful. All other staff encountered equally helpful and pleasant. The room was as I asked for, ie quiet. It’s was as on previous occasions spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, great shower and really nice towels. The train station is a 10 minute walk, and there are very frequent trains to London, some taking only 25 minutes. All excellent value and yes I’ll definitely be visiting again. All COVID measures in place, including the NHS track and trace barcode. Essential

This was my first visit to Holiday Inn Express, Stevenage since the hotel reopened after Covid-19 restrictions. It was noticeable how much quieter the hotel was with fewer guests than before the virus took hold. There were sufficient safety measures in place including sanitiser stations dotted around the hotel as well as safety screens at reception. I was welcomed as a IHG Spire Ambassador member and given a room on 1st floor. The room was spotlessly clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The usb sockets at the bedside were installed a while back but were very useful. It was a very good short stay at the hotel and was a very early start for me on my day of departure so I didn't get the chance to try the breakfast which had been changed slightly due to Covid-19 restrictions. Hopefully I will be staying again in the not too distant future.
