We chose this hotel on the advice of some friends who live nearby, as it is within easy reach of the bars and restaurants of the waterfront, so the location was excellent. The hotel was very clean, the bed comfortable, but our first thought on entering the room was "Who's pinched the furniture?" There was a big space in a... More

Travelodge ruined what would have been a brilliant short stay with silly charges for wifi (come on we're in the 21st century) and providing basic tv (no channel 5 available -'awaiting signal' according to the screen. We were still waiting at the end of the weekend!) When will companies learn that to keep customers happy you have to move with... More

We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding in the area. The hotel was a standard Travelodge - clean, tidy, well kept. The views over the waterfront were a nice touch that we didn't know about before booking. Staff were attentive and helpful - our key card failed when we got back at 2am but the wait for someone... This was our third year in a row that we have stayed at this particular Travelodge and little has changed in that time. Unfortunately I had the same issue this time as before! Disabled Parking and no one wanting to address it. Also the room layout and lack of Air conditioning needs to be addressed quickly even though a fans... More

We had come from another hotel in a different part of the country and didn't have a high expectation in honesty - when we arrived at this hotel we were impressed with the outlook of the hotel on arrival. The standard of the room surpassed our expectations and we would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Love Travelodge because the rooms are big and I can bring my dogs and the staff are helpful but leave you alone to just get on with it. The rooms are always nice and clean although I do always think they need to leave more milk in the rooms!

Standard Travelodge... Rooms clean and tidy, noise level was at a minimum, food was standard for every Travelodge I've ever stayed at. Niggles :- - Broken hairdryer. But Was offered a replacement in timely fashion by the very polite receptionist - Late room check in. Should have checked in at three, however, room still wasn't ready at half four, so... More

I had a lovely time staying at the hotel last week, the rooms were clean and fresh and the staff were nice especially Jess she was very talkative and friendly and helped us find a parking spot when the car park was full. All the staff looked very professional except the manager, one morning we came down and she was... More

The hotel is well located for visiting the Ipswich Regent and Corn Exchange - all a 10/15 minute walk away. However, despite booking a family room - we were put in a room on the second floor only to be woken at 2am by the "lads" above coming in from a night out. I would of hoped Travelodge would do... Always my top choice when visiting areas. Excellent comfort. Would recommend for both Business and Social stays. I have never stayed for the breakfast, however I can say that the dining area is always busy on my visits.
