Had a grand stay, Rhiannon was very friendly and helpful, the room were on the small side but were very clean. Good centre location and with food outlets close by, I’ll probably come back again in the future
Very disappointing, having stayed at this hotel over the last 5-6 months it been “you get what you pay for” Sort of place. However on checking in on the 7/3/23 my room was located looking on to the light well in the middle of the property, upon entering the room it became apparent that I was not going to be able to sleep due to the noise generated from the external air conditioning unit s. I return to reception to request a room change and was met with a non cooperative receptionist who refused to move my room due to the noise issue. I was left stood in reception for 40 min whilst “he texted his manager” They refused to move my room despite having 7 rooms available! Great if it all goes well but when you have a problem it’s a faceless company you are dealing with! Andres’ was most unhelpful And deserves the worst employee of the year award. Would recommend paying the extra £20 and staying in travelodge (as I had to do)…
Pleasant and clean and nice customer service but extremely basic. A bed, 2 coat hooks and tv. No chair, cupboard or tea/coffee facilities. Would have been better with parking or at least discounted close by.
Positives: Great town centre location Staff really friendly and helpful Clean Negatives: The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Know some might like it, but the mattress is a brick, and I slept really badly. Heating seems to cycle on and off, so you get too warm, then cold.
Like to say that Rhiannon and Jenica staff, was very helpful, friendly and totally understood my frustration when I was unable to locate the television remote control. They promptly resolved my request and added if I needed any other assistance please don't hesitate to contact them. Highly recommended staying here at Ipswich location, if like me a solo traveller. Thank you both
This is my second stay at this hotel, what brought me back was the location and that it’s cheap, the rooms are small but clean. My last stay the lift didn’t work so that was nice to have a working lift this time.
You can't really expect much when you're only paying £40 for a room. And you certainly don't get much! The room was small with no window. The bed was small, and I woke up feeling like I had rigor mortis in my back. The bed was so uncomfortable, I must have slept for a total of 2 hours the whole night. The pillows (pillow - one each) were so flat, there wasn't really much point in having them. At least the room and shower were clean, but it was far from comfortable.
This hotel is basic but very functional and good value for money. Reception staff friendly and dealt with query competently. Shower good with shower gel provided. TV was good and the beds comfortable, no noise experienced. There is no tea or coffee in the room.
I recently stayed at Easy Hotel in Ipswich which is clean, tidy and quiet with friendly staff (Lee was very helpful especially with where I can park) and I was pleasantly surprised. For the money you spend, it's a great value! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at an affordable price.
Probably the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The pillows were so thick I fell asleep the moment my head touched them. The bed was so comfortable I almost missed check out. I would strongly recommend the room with no windows. It reminded me of my short stay in jail (for stealing a sleeping bag off a street dweller).
