Lovely old place and original features. koi pond is a good feature too. the walls are adorned with film posters and they do make interesting reading. The room cleanliness you cannot fault. the bed linen is spotless. The small single room I had however was a little tired, the carpet and the paint work need attention as does the shower... More

The Bentley Tower Hotel is a family run hotel (rare in itself these days) with an array of truly fantastic framed film posters adorning the walls everywhere you look, giving it a quirky, welcoming and individual charm. Although the decor (film noir theme) may not be up to all tastes, I felt that it gives the Bentley Tower Hotel a... More

It is such a pity that the owners do not read these reviews and act upon them! I arrived to be faced with a total lack of greeting that Basil Fawlty would have been proud off. "The front door was already open!", in response to my ringing the door bell "The reception is through there" general wave in a even... More

We stayed here following a family funeral. We checked in early, left the car in the car park, went off to the funeral, came back had a beer, went to bed, had a good night's sleep, used the bathroom, checked out and went home. The building had a nice 'homely' feel, with soft carpets and comfortable furniture, no complaints about... More

Stayed here with my partner for a night in August. Had a beautiful room. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel was quirky and full of character. The owner of the hotel was lovely - very helpful and accommodating! Would definitely revisit if I came back to Ipswich.

Very warm welcome when we checked in, lovely hotel, room well equipped, bed very comfortable and very clean. Only stayed one night and enjoyed our short stay. Close to the town centre. Extra charge for breakfast which we decided not to have.

This is a great, quirky hotel close to central Ipswich. We stayed on a Saturday night for a theatre visit- a comfy 15 minute walk to the New Woolsey and town centre. Check in was quick and efficient and we loved the hollywood noir decor throughout the hotel. Room was clean and bed comfy no major complaints however you could... More

Would like to say this hotel was lovely. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Room was very clean and tidy. Will be staying there again. Shame we get chance to try the breakfast but i am sure it would have been good.
