We stayed here last year and were so impressed with the service and hospitality that when the opportunity presented itself for a return stay in Llandudno, the Clontarf was our number one choice! Joni and Mark remembered us from our previous stay and we were warmly welcomed back. They always go the extra mile to ensure that guests enjoy their... More

Stayed for one night. The double room was neat and felt like we really got a lot for the money. The owners were very professional and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options and we left very satisfied with our stay. Would definately stay here again next time we're in Llandudno.

The owner was unprofessional, greedy and angry towards us both. He tried to charge me an extra £40 because my girlfriend decided to stay at the last minute when officially it was only £20 extra we had to pay. She did not eat breakfast but he still charged us extra. He harassed me & my girlfriend about this extra money... More

Whilst we on the whole, recognise the positive effect Trip Advisor makes on the tourism industry and indeed our business personally, here is an example of when having an unregulated review system is both unfair and slanderous. Here we have a review which will stay on our hotel page indefinitely and is an untrue recollection of the events that took... More

Recently visited The Clontarf Hotel. It was our first visit there and we really enjoyed it. The room was lovely - clean and characterful and it had everything we needed! The owners were friendly and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious with a very good range of choices. Hope to go back again very soon!

Very nice family run hotel. Only 15walk from Llandudno front. Fab breakfast and very large and lovely room. Very quiet area. Good base to explore north wales. Mark the owner is very helpful nothing is to much trouble. Would stay again if in the area.

The Clontarf Hotel describes itself as a bed and breakfast with contemporary accommodation; the bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast is superb with plenty of choice, what more is there to say except that the welcome is warm?

My wife and I often go for a day out at Llandudno but decided to have a 2-day break there this year. After checking out on TripAdvisor this hotel looked perfect and so it turned out to be. Attention to detail makes a lot of difference - from the friendly welcome by Mark when we arrived, to the bottle of... More

The Clontarf is always consistent in terms of the quality of the rooms, toiletries and the food served. Joni & Mark are great hosts and would recommend this hotel over and over again. We stayed in room 7 the room is a lovely room but the bathroom is a little awkward for my 6ft husband who has to bend to... More

We are frequent visitors to Llandudno & particularly love West Shore. However we have never stayed at that side. We decided to this time & found this great hotel. Soooo glad we did. Had the best of both worlds with views of the beach & The Orme. Clean & comfortable with everything we needed. Seating area in the room (6)... More

Walked past on a few previous visits but finally decided to give them a try, so glad we did. Great value for the level of accommodation. Stayed in room 6 which as advertised give views of both The Orme and West Shore itself, possibly the best kept secret in Wales. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day and... More
