Pleasantly surprised at entering the Grand Hotel maybe not as sparkling as in its heyday but clean tidy and welcoming. Only here for drinkies but found benches on a very slim balcony overlooking the sea and prom in the lovely sunshine. Service by a lovely...More
OK, I think crucially with the Grand Hotel in Llandudno, one's experience will be heavily influenced by what one expects from the visit, and to be fair, the 'Grand' name of the Hotel may no longer quite be as accurate as perhaps it once was....More
Visited Llandudno for a three night short break. We spent our last day there staying at The Grand Hotel. Well..., wasn't Grand at all.

I am very worried about parking at this hotel as I am unable to walk any distance and will be arriving on Bank Holiday Monday. I have tried to contact the Llandudno Tourist Board regarding this but have not had a reply. Can anyone help please?

Car Parking in Llandudno, particularly at a weekend and on a Bank Holiday, is at a premium. There is “Pay and Display” parking before and after the Hotel, but spaces are taken up very early in the mornings. If you have a Blue Badge, there is a limited number of free spaces just past the Hotel. There is “Pay and Display” parking along the Prom and there are two pay Car Parks off the Dual Carriageway towards the West Shore. There is also free parking in the centre of the Dual Carriageway, very limited places and there is a number of Street parking places around, but not easy.
