Once you have stayed with Nina and Steve at the White Court you will be in danger of becoming a serial returner as most of these reviews testify. The b and b visitors are missing out. The evening meals are outstanding and compare with any you will find in fine dining restaurants and far below the price you would expect... More

We stayed in a front facing room although it didn't look over the 'front' and cost extra. The room was very basic and like the rest of the hotel, had a very dated look and feeling about it. There was tea and coffee available everyday. The towels are changed every day. The window is an old 'sash' type and is... More

In the room there was a small bottle of wine and, in addition to the usual tea and coffee, two Kit-Kat type biscuits. Very nice touches. The room, however, was more suitable as a single and it was... They obviously take pride in their hotel both in how it is presented and their customer care. It has a lovely traditional feel and warm atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic as was... More

Fantastic stay. Walked past and took a look after spending the previous night in a terrible hotel. From the second we walked in we was welcomed and showed 2 rooms. Very homely and comfortable. Room was huge. We had a complimentary small bottle of wine, and a selection of tea and coffee. The pub over the road was a little... More

In every aspect this hotel is just like you remember good hotels were like years and years ago and much better than you expect them to be nowadays. My Wife and I had the privilege of staying with the Proprietors for four days in September - for you truly are a guest if you choose to stay here - and... More
