We saw this offer £109 for 3 nights bed, breakfast and evening meal, so we booked it, but weren't expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel was on the sea front, very clean and the food was excellent. Entertainment on the first night was a wonderful comedian, second night an okish singer. The third night however was... More

We went on National Holidays coach and this was the only option we had s hotel. Room very poor, far too small, we paid extra for Sea view but the little corner window didn't impress us much, we wouldn't pay that extra again. The bathroom was horrible, shower not working properly, bath far too small to be used as such... More

This hotel has 100 rooms but only a few with shower cubicles. We had a lovely refurbished room 323 with a shower cubicle. The furniture all matched, it was bright but rather stuffy and the double glazing was misted. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was that the lift only took two people so... More

The room was very comfortable which is always good. Clean and a good size. It's quite a walk down the esplanade but it's worth it. Meals were tasty and the staff very helpful. Will consider this hotel again on our next visit.

My wife and I enjoyed our four-night stay here. We came by our own car and paid a bit extra for a sea-view room. We were not disappointed as the room was a good size, very clean, quiet, good facilities, and had a great view of the sea and bay. Although we needed to use the small lift to get to... More

Stayed for four nights as part of a Coach trip. A nice seafront location but would have preferred to have been closer to the centre of town. Room was fine except shower pressure was very poor. Nice fluffy white towels ! . Food was good but portions are small. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Drink prices were a bit... More

Probably one of the best Sheering Hotels there is - a lift which isnt a coffin carrier, and rather essential on the 4th floor, comfortable room although it took a couple of days to sort out the temperature, restaurant service probably the best i have experienced. Dear ChristineC we are very nearly finished installing flat screen TVs only a handful left to do. I'm so glad you enjoyed the food and the service and I'm very grateful for your review. I take your point about the avocado bathroom suite but you never know they could soon be back in fashion. Kind regards Andy Travis General Manager More
