Although the weather was really windy, rainy and cold the hotel warm warm and welcoming. Our room 110 was clean and comfy with fantastic views. The...

We have stayed at the hotel a few times now both at New Year and during the summer. This time we noticed some changes which suggest Shearings are making a few cut backs. The entertainment on New Year's Eve had one act on instead of the usual two. There was a new compare who dressed in the same shirt and...

The hotel used to have poorly fitting metal windows which were extremely drafty. Now replaced with double glazed units and rooms and common areas freshly redecorated this hotel is genuinely a solid 3 star hotel. Food was good and staff unobtrusive and friendly. Door keys excellent and design means customers cannot inadvertently lock keys inside the rooms. Flat screen TVs...

Have just returned from the Bay County Hotel, which was inclusive of our Shearings Coach Holiday. From the time we arrived, to the time we left, the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a nice bright decor, and the bed very comfortable. The staff in the Dining Room were so efficient. There was...

we arrived at the county bay hotel on Friday the 25/11/16 for a weekend break as my birthday treat but when we reached 406 which is an ordeal to get to we discovered well I really do not think it is legal to put people in a room like this but we had come quite a ways now the bathroom...
