Had a good weekend away here with my grandchildren. Has recently got new owners, they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, set us up for the day. Room was clean. Would revisit again. Enjoyable stay.

My husband and I wanted to go to Llandudno for our Wedding Anniversary. We contacted The Shelbourne Hotel, there was a cancellation so we booked for a two night stay in July 2019, from the Friday night checking out on Sunday. On arrival we had allocated parking at the rear of the Hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Biran, his wife and his son. They had also reserved a table for us at the Cae Mor Hotel to celebrate our Anniversary . Our room was a double with televison and wi-fi it also had an ensuite which consisted of both bath and shower on the second floor. The Hotel also has a lift that services all floors and holds 3 people. The room and bathroom were very clean, the double bed was extremely comfortable, we had tea/coffee/ drinking chocolate making facility. Breakfast consisted of a full Welsh Breakfast which was freshly made once you placed your order and a choice of cereal/fresh orange juice/gratefruit and youghurt. The Hotel provides various accommodation from a single room to a family room. The staff are all friendly and you are always greeted with a smile. The atomosphere in the hotel is calming and warm I did not want to leave. I would reccomend the Shelbourne Hotel and have done to friends and colleagues. We are planning our next trip to the Shelbourne Hotel.

I am shocked that you feel you can comment on tripadvisor when you clearly have not stayed with us since we have taken over the hotel. We have honoured all bookings with children, but will now not be allowing any further bookings for children under the age of 10 years, and yes we still take dogs too. What you dont know is that we will be transforming the rooms considerably and will not have family rooms (which could only take 3 people) as such for much longer, giving larger more spacious double/twins rooms. Having spent a lot of money purchasing the property we feel we have the right to update and transform it how we see fit. Comments like yours are not helpful to anyone.

We have stayed there for 2 nights for the first time since the new owners took over a few weeks ago - Had stayed there approx 5 years ago. Have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked for 3 nights. We received a warm welcome and our room was comfortable, clean and adequate for our stay with lovely view of the bay and little Orme from our bedroom window. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and tasty with range of cereals, grapefruit or yogurts as well as toast either brown white or a mix of both according to taste and jam or marmalade. We look forward to going back & can recommend the Shelbourne. Good luck to Sarah & Biran in your new venture at the Shelbourne and plans to make some improvements.

Stayed in May 2019 for a three day golf break with eleven fellow golfers. The hotel is well organised, our car park spaces were clearly designated and we were given a warm welcome. Bedrooms are very clean and tidy and in good repair. If you are with friends try for rooms adjacent to each other as walls are a little lacking in soundproofing . This does not distract from the enjoyment at the Shelbourne. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff ensure everything is to your liking. There are tea/coffee making facilities in every room and the lounge/bar room area to the front of the hotel is excellent with an excellent view of the pier at sunset. All in all a perfect stay and I am sure we will return.
