had lunch here today all our choices were fab, and we enjoyed them, the portions were huge, and all hot and tasty. the sweet selection was ok but nothing I fancied and the waitress went out of her way to ask the chefs for an alternative and we hadthe most gorgeous sticky toffee pud n custard, we were full, but... Clean comfortable warm room A Turkey and Tinsel themed weekend Good service, good breakfast and dinner, with afternoon tea served each day Generous potions, with plenty of choice for each course, also a cold option each night No wifi in bedrooms yet Hotel decorated for Christmas, I think it would have helped to have Christmas music playing in the dining... Awful! Tasteless, the chicken was pathetic, the carrots totally watery and overcooked. No wonder they offer sauce as accompaniment, other I'd rather have chewed cardboard! If others enjoyed the food, then today the hotel must have dragged in an occasional chef ( I use the term loosely) for the day. Just decided to have some vegetable crisps for evening snack... More

David Many thanks for your TripAdvisor review. We're sorry that you didn't enjoy your lunch with us. As you note, a lot of people do enjoy both lunch and dinner at The Queen's Hotel so it may well be a case of 'personal preference', but nonetheless, your feedback will be passed to the Head Chef for his attention. Thank you... More

This was our second visit for a dance weekend. The hotel is very centrally located for shops and attractions. Our room was clean and of a reasonable size. The mattress really needed changing - it felt like a few obese people had slept on it before us as the sprung edges had given way. Check in was very efficient. The... More

Let's get the positives out of the way first. Great central location at a competitive price. But is it worth it? There is a small car park at the hotel and plenty of on street metered parking in the area, we were there in October so finding a spot for £3 a day was not difficult. Our first issue was... More

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us at The Queen's Hotel. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your overall stay. Whilst The Queen's Hotel does offer traditional accommodation, we disagree that our rooms are poorly maintained. Both the previous owners and ourselves have cared very well for this magnificent hotel - and will continue... More

My wife and I were visiting Llandudno on October 15th and decided to have dinner at an hotel. after two abortive tries elsewhere we went into the Queens. it was 6.45 and we enquired at the bar if there was a table for two available. There was clearly a 'do' on but after a bit of conversation between the staff... More

John - Many thanks for reviewing your recent stay at The Queen's Hotel. Therefore, we are surprised that your group weren't informed of this at the time of booking. Most hotels have a... More

All hotels in a Victorian setting have been here since that time and as such have an ambiance. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the restaurant provided good food by characters that were pleasant and of a good nature. Well worth a visit which we will visit again.
