We are a couple who stayed here with our young adult family. We all had great fun at this hotel. We enjoyed the games room, the great location of the hotel, and the food was plentiful for us all because our lovely waitress never failed to offer us seconds! Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We can't... More

We Went to Llandudno on a Alfa Coach holiday for a week. The Hydro hotel is in a good setting on sea front at LLandudno and not far to walk to the shops. The public rooms are very pleasant and decorated in original style. Our room was on the third floor and was a really good size and was nicely... More

Went to Llandudno with my wife Barbara on our 10th trip with Alfa. Stopped off at Llangollen on route. The Hydro hotel is very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the bay between the Great Orme and the Little Orme. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite, and our waiter Julian was great. There was a good... More

We've been to the hydro on numerous occasions and have always had a happy stay. The hotel seems to be better each year had quite a bit of refurbishment over the past few years, the management and staff are very obliging.we usually pay for a sea view room which was nicely situated had a few stairs to climb which about 8/10... I gave my review the title I have because that is precisely what I was. The hotel I was booked in had problems with flooding and the room I should have occupied was uninhabitable, so they booked me into the Hydro. My first impression of the Hydro was the size of it, reception seemed huge. I was welcomed by a... More

Stayed here recently as part of a coach tour with Alfa Travel taking older members of the family for a short break. Can't fault Alfa as a company the are value for money. The hotel is dated and needs some refurbishing but saying that it was very clean throughout. The food however was poor with little choice. The staff were lovely... More

Friendly welcome on arrival, the staff were very helpful and pleasant all through our stay. Excellent room, very clean and on ground floor, so no stairs thankfully. Food good and waitress service was better for breakfast than self service. Lovely views right across the bay and very handy for all the attractions and the main shopping area. We would definitely... Booked earlier in the week, as we found we could attend a party in the area, and with Elkie Brooks in town were limited to only two hotels. Arrived mid afternoon and watched the Wales V Northern Ireland match in the hotels TV room, all good, booked in to find we were in room 300, a little difficult to find... More

can't fault except we a family of three had to share a table with a single man who we found was extremely bad mannered and very arrogant. We had to inform the waiter that he wasn't with us. We were so embarrassed the way he talked to him. We are widely travelled and have never had to share a table... More
