Stayed for a short break here due to easy access to the beach. The room was clean (although not exactly spacious which isn't a big issue as we spent most time out), but trouble with toilet flushing and lights not working. Breakfast was lovely, with wide choices including cereals, toast with various spreads, yoghurt, fruit and of course cooked breakfast.... More

Just home from a four night stay, we had a premier room overlooking the sea, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, two easy chairs with foot stool in the bay window gave it that special finish. Breakfast choice was good with plenty to eat, the staff where very friendly and helpful, decent bar, entertainment if you wanted it of... More

Clean quiet classic B&B in a central location on the seafront with car parking at the rear of the property. Whilst the room was small the bed was comfy. There is a drip from the downpipe outside the room which was quite annoying but must not have disturbed sleep as I forgot to mention it at the time. The bathroom was... More

We had a great room overlooking the sea with a bright, clean bathroom. The staff were very friendly and we had an excellent breakfast in the basement restaurant. The hotel is an old building but it has been converted well and has the benefit of a lift and bar.

Only ventilation was small window above fire door in room which we couldn't leave open as the metal 'balcony' was shared so room really uncomfortable to sleep in during hot weather. Shower had 2 settings; cold and third degree burns staff friendly enough. Breakfast on the small side but hot although we had to ask if someone could take our... More

My cousin booked this hotel asking for a family room with an adjoining room as there was 5 in our party. However when we arrived we were given rooms that were some distance apart after some discussion, as the family room was unavailable! My room (number 18), the shower head had seen better days, with water leaking from the pivot... More

Had a fab weekend here, booked a sea view double room. Lovely and clean, breakfast was plentiful, evening meal was nice, plenty choices. Bar area is small but adequate with lots of choice. The barman/co owner was really friendly and showed me all his card tricks 😉 We did get a visit every morning from a gull, who taps very loudly on the window 😂Would... More

The staff was lovely, very helpful but the room was so so. The bathroom was very small and the shower difficult to work with water either scalding or cold. Breakfast not good. Don't get scrambled eggs unless you like powdered eggs. Sausage sad. You have to sit for quite a while before getting coffee. We should have gone to the... More

We needed a hotel for 2 nights that accepted dogs and it was really last minute so this hotel was one of a handful we could find. It was more basic than we normally go for but it was clean & tidy. We had room 30 and the seaview was nice. Breakfast was very nice, the chef does this very... More
