Just returned after a wonderful, relaxing stay at Ocklynge Manor. Myself and my husband booked a 2 night getaway in Eastbourne staying at at the Ocklynge Manor our hosts Mr and Mrs Dugdill couldn't do enough for us!! The B&B was exceptionally clean with a lovely homely ambience, our en suite bedroom was very quiet and comfortable with beautiful starched...

A visit to Ocklynge Manor feels like going home to family........only better!!! Wendy and David are so welcoming they make you feel like special guests in their home. You are pampered from the time you check in, with tea and homemade cake, to when you sadly have to say goodbye. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the atmosphere warm and...

We had a superb 3 night stay at Ocklynge Manor. Wendy and David are wonderful hosts and run an immaculate and welcoming B&B - we couldn't have been happier staying there and wished we'd had longer. The Manor is full of history and we loved seeing pictures and hearing the stories while enjoying Wendy's excellent breakfasts. Her fruit salad is...

Wendy & David have thought of everything a guest could need. It was our first visit but the other guests had stayed there several times, which speaks for itself. The garden is also a delight with many places to sit and relax. It is also near a bus route if you want to leave your car when you go into...

Choosing a place to sleep while attending the Glyndebourne Festival is not easy. Although Sussex is full of wonderful hotels and B&Bs there is very little within a short drive from the festival. We found this B&B months before our arrival (you need to book tickets for Glyndebourne rather early) on the net and liked the pictures and the pleasant...

We stayed here in 2015 and we have visited again over the May bank holiday. After an horrendous journey via the M25 we were welcomed with tea and cake in the garden. As before we felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The garden, by the way, is quite extensive and delightful. We intend to come again.

My husband and I were delighted with our decision to stay 6 nights at Ocklynge Manor. We were given a warm welcome by Wendy the owner. Breakfast was wonderful, a great selection to suit all needs, (not many places offer delicious homemade bread and homemade marmalades). Our en suite room was spacious, bright and airy and had a wonderful view...

Beautiful place, rooms, hosts and every detail. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole set up is extremely thoughtful. Everything immaculate - nothing is scratched or worn. Beautiful gardens ... this place is a "cut above" almost everywhere.

My husband and I spent four comfortable days in this delightful Manor house. Our rooms were immaculately clean and charmingly decorated, with beautiful garden views. The delicious breakfasts prepared by our friendly and knowledgeable host Wendy were served in the family dining room (warmed by a log fire). Eastbourne provides wonderful restaurants and galleries, and the surrounding countryside with its...
