This hotel is really convenient for the Winter Gardens if you're going to a conference or seeing a show. There is a view of the sea (just) and it is only a step to the beach. There is on-site parking if you need it but it is only a short, inexpensive taxi ride from the station. The decor is strongly... More

We booked this hotel to enable us to attend a family gathering on the basis of location, on-site parking, availability in peak season and, of course, price but having then read the reviews we did have some misgivings and wondered if we had done the right thing. In the event, we need not have worried ! Sure, some of decor... More

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! My nan and I booked to stay at this hotel over a month ago and they emailed me on Monday 8th to say they had cancelled our booking as guests had asked to extend their stay and so a room wasn't available for us! I was left having to convince my nan it... More

Very dated hotel. Hotel room was slightly depressing, bathroom shelf over basin way too deep, nearly smacked head when bending over to spit after brushing teeth. Bad design. All in all for the money we paid we were disappointed in the hotel, but I suppose we paid for the position of this place. We were able bodied and the 40... More

I initially booked a four night business trip but was so impressed by the charm of the hotel and the hospitality on offer I extended my stay to explore Eastbourne further . The Courtlands Hotel offers all the facilities you would expect from a hotel as a business or leisure traveller, with friendly but not intrusive service. There is ample... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtlands Hotel and would definitely go back there again. The location of the hotel is ideal, giving easy access to the seafront and the town centre as well as the Congress Theatre. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom looked very new. We had both dinner and breakfast in the... More

The internet site pictures showed a decent looking 3star hotel with a car park as additional feature. When we arrived the outlook of the hotel was quite shabby and the internet pictures didnt show the accomodation next to the hotel which looked even worse. The Asian lady was helpful, but the scottish gentleman was not. The room was dissapointing, given... More

The internet and our brochure are both a mirror image of the hotel and its furnishings etc. BOTH HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BY A SPECIALIST PROFESIONAL COMPANY. This person MR B brought his wife to a hotel, he in fact should have taken her to a hospital in the first place as she was not in good condition when booking in.... More

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the courtlands hotel with my wife. We were greeted by a drunk Scottish man who rudely asked us what room we had booked. He then made an inappropriate joke towards my wife. We were then led up to our room and what a sight it was! Thick with dust on every surface... More

Firstly we have an idea who sent this review. Courtlands Hotel is one of the few hotels with a sizable car park which is opposite shows. During each day and evening, although it is well signed “Permit Holders Only” we often get people who are not residents parking and attempting to run off, well this review was done by one... More

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Courtland's hotel on many occasions over the past few years . Sandy and Tom the owners and hosts are most congenial and nothing is ever too much . Many of the rooms are renovated to a very good standard and always well serviced as are the bathroom and shower facilities. The food... More
