This is a real home from home with a great welcome, lovely comfortable rooms (we've tried them all!) and a fabulous breakfast. We love our visits here! It is an easy walk from the town, a little bit of a hill up to Brayscroft itself but we have never found that a problem and a very short stroll to the... More

We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is very clean and the breakfasts are great, no need to worry about lunch as you will still be full up. Yvonne was always helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there.

We had never been to Eastbourne before and wanted somewhere to stay for one night so that we could have a relaxing evening and not have to rush the next morning. I checked on line to find somewhere near the sea front and the town with very good feed back. I looked at hotels and guest houses and had a... More

On arrival we were promptly shown to our Superior room. A very pleasant room at the front, if somewhat small, in fact its cramped. The décor is 1950's with chintz ornaments and matching furniture, the bed is covered with cushions and towels and yet nowhere to put them. Its very clean and Yvonne the proprietor is very helpful, but the... More

I stayed with four friends for one night. We all loved it - Yvonne was so welcoming and us all being Swedish, we felt this little gem was so English! The rooms were very nice, spotlessly clean and v comfortable. The breakfast kept us going on our walk for hours before it was time for lunch - delicious too!

Brilliantly well run B&B. Spotless throughout, Comfortable rooms. Generous breakfasts. All run by the lovely Yvonne who makes the hotel into a home for her guests. Excellent value. Highly recommended. Better than many 4/5 star hotels.

Delightful welcome from host with very helpful information. The bedroom and ensuite were very light and bright and well equipped. There was a generous provision of toiletries as well as tea and coffee ingredients. Everywhere is very clean and well maintained. A really comfortable quiet loungers provided for guests. Excellent breakfast with a delicious selection to choose from.

Lovely stay over the weekend. Small but perfectly formed room. Extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. Very good shower. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Tasty full English breakfast. Great service. Why look elsewhere? Cannot fault the B and B at all.
