The Chatsworth is an impressive, Victorian hotel on the seafront and the charm doesn't end at the front door. I had booked to stay here for one night for a local theatre visit. Check in time was at 2pm but we were running a little late, and at 3pm I had a courtesy call to check we were still coming. Which is unusual, but the thought was nice. Upon check-in we were greeted by Bruno. He was very friendly... More

We arrived around 3.45 p.m to be met with the noise of building works within the hotel which we were assured would be finished by 4 as it was works within the bar. Actually it was works on floors 1 and 2 directly under our bedroom which didn't finish until 5.30. I wish we had been told about the building... More

Went for our first time, the staff were so polite and friendly. Under going renovations but did not effect our stay. Breakfast was very good. Just would of liked more choice for evening meals as it was a set menu. 2 of our party did not like the choices so we had to eat out. We however look forward to... More

An amazing looking building, always looked grand so when saw offer to stay jumped at the chance to stay here. However, the hotel bedrooms do need a bit of TLC and the new owners management are in the process of making the changes. Currently removing 12 rooms on the 1st floor to just 6 suites. Room was comfortable. Bar was... More

We had a gift voucher given to us and we did an 'add' on for an overnight stay for our parents wedding anniversary. We were expecting a small room for the offer we had but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by being offered a bigger room, no 35 with a sea view and balcony. The service was brilliant....
