Booked in here at £45 PPPN including breakfast. Hotel itself looks a little rundown was perhaps quite fine at one point, Annoyingly there is signage showing you to an entrance that is blocked off. The entrance is at the side. Car parking - park down the side of the hotel they give you a pass at £1/day - bargain. The... More

Booked this hotel for a 2 night stay for The Eastbourne Airshow. Due to a change of fixture dates for our football team, we had to amend our dates twice on separate occasions .Our requests were dealt with without problem and duly confirmed by prompt emails. We found the reception staff polite and professional and very friendly. When we got... More

Stayed Saturday night on weekend of Eastbourne Air Show. Excellent location opposite Bandstand on sea front. Friendly staff but not very professional. We had double room overlooking sea. Bed hard. Floorboards creaky. Curtains not fitting windows so sunlight came in at early hour. Bathroom clean but tiny. Door hit washbasin when opened. Hotel generally needs re-modernisation. Breakfast disgusting. Poached egg... More

On arriving at the hotel on Tuesday with a group of 50 of our dancers, several were disappointed at check in by being told that the rooms they had pre booked and paid for in advance were not available. Four guests had paid for sea view rooms, which they didn't get. One family of three had booked a double room... More

Had a lovely Afternoon tea on August 4th together with my daughter. Everything was fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed. Staff member Mike was very polite. I do recommend this place, I will return for sure.

Took my 89 Father in his wheelchair for Sussex Cream Tea at this hotel. Initially I thought we could not access the hotel as stairs but when we asked at reception for wheelchair access a very pleasant and helpful young man "Orelia" from Hungary showed us how to access the hotel to be able to sit in the seafront conservatory... My mother who is 83 years of age stayed here from 17/07/2016 to 23/07/2016. She found the evening meal so disappointing that she had to go out of a night time and eat else where. She was not the only one complaining there was quite a few people. They even spoke to the chef who had only been there two... More

Hotel is very prominently located opposite the bandstand on the seafront. Staff were very pleasant though not very many of them. Food was good at the beginning of the week but deteriorated, along with the service by the end of the week. Noise was a big problem for me at night - thin walls, t.v noise and very creaky floorboards.... More

Spent a pleasant and comfortable 5 days. Right on Sea front opposite the Bandstand. Food reasonable, rooms comfortable and very clean. Ideal for quick walks to pier or walk to shopping centre. Very easy to catch a bus up to Beachy Head or over to Hastings.
