The food was awful, my mum said she couldnt eat the food there and just wanted to come home and get straight in the shower.... More

Stayed three nights, just got home first thing I did was to get straight in the shower and scrub myself down! I felt dirty dieing the stay as there was no shower in room just a tiny bath but absolutely no hot water to wash or bathe in. The room was really very dated, and cold rooms. Food was minimal... After a horrific 10 hour journey we arrived at the Fairlands Hotel which was very welcoming. The Hotel is quite basic but it is clean and has all the amenities that you need. The food, whilst not abundant was well cooked and presented. Nice choice of food at breakfast. The staff were very friendly. The loud gong the owner rung... More

I booked a trip with Travelstyle to see Brighton as it was on the list of places to visit. Hotel was in Eastbourne as low cost break so didn't expect a lot however was very pleasantly surprised at great location in Eastbourne of Hotel, (within 5 minute walk to town and practically on promenade). Room was a bit old fashioned... More

My wife and myself recently returned from the Fairlands Hotel, Eastbourne. We had a very enjoyable few days, the hotel is down a street off the sea front and therefore much quieter than the sea front, the hotel has been a large house in the past like many of the hotels in eastbourne, we found the hotel very clean, the... Like the curates egg the hotel was alright in parts. We were given a large room for two people but it had three beds in it with a chair at the foot of each so it left little room to move. Behind the door there were numerous cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Mattresses were flat and uncomfortable. The entertainer on... More
