We stayed here for 10 night from the middle of September. Seeing many different reviews we were unsure on how this hotel would be, we know next year that it will being adult only & you can see they are already starting to improve the facilities for next year. That being said, we really didn't have many cons of the hotel. Me & my partner are both in our late 20's. There is many older people who attend this hotel & we did hear many of them moaning regarding the facilities. The pool was lovely, yes you could see a tiny bit of 'scum on the title around by the bar but this doesn't affect anyone. The pool area is cleaned every morning & vacuum out. You could always get a sunbeds at both the pool & the beach. The ones by the pool were very comfortable. You could easily access the beach ( not all areas around where this hotel is located can do that) The access to the sea isn't the easiest. There are rocks ( we heard that they are planning on changing it to add sand in to make it safer ) I read a review before I left that people were continuously hurting themselves. I didn't see 1 accident in 10 days and we would visit the sea at least a few times a day. The rooms aren't spectacular but nice enough. I didn't think much of the bathroom but after all you are on holiday so we didn't use the room much so this wasn't a worry for us. Our flight got us to the hotel late at night, they did supply a free sandwich in the fridge ( though very dry ) It was a nice gesture. There is a free spa aswell as a paid spa area. We used the free spa every day & really enjoy this feature. We used this area when we left as our transfer was late- In the spa area there is a changing room with lockers but if you go to the indoor pool there is a ladies/men changing area where there is toilets / showers & changing rooms which was super helpful! The food was very tasty although not as much variety as some other hotels I have been to, all the food was very tasty and enough choice every day to eat. If you are looking for a hotel which is devoted on customer service then this isn't the hotel for you but the staff are all friendly & will say hello etc to you. Don't be put off by the reviews if you are easily pleased & aren't bothered by the fact the hotel will be going through some changed. By next April I can imagine the experience will be alot better.

We stayed here for five nights and had a great time. Firstly the cons The room didn’t appear to be what you would expect 4 star especially the bathroom - we agreed it gave off Travel Lodge/Holiday Inn vibes which we don’t have a problem with but certainly not 4-star. The cleaners came to clean our room between 8-8:30am which was early when you’re on holiday and go away to get a rare lie in! 😂 we paid a bit extra for a partial sea view which we were disappointed in and agreed not worth the extra money since we were facing the adjacent apartments and north facing so got no sunlight at all which made drying things a bit more difficult. But it did mean we weren’t facing the main road. I would recommend paying for the full sea view next time. That said there were far more pros to this hotel than the cons! Firstly the sunsets are stunning!! And you get rare access to a beach which is great just bring some water shoes as it is rocky! There was always free sun beds by the beach, the breakfast had more selection than anyone could want, the hotel was always so clean, plenty of parking for hire cars, bike hire and good service at the bars and restaurants. I would stay here again now we have managed expectations of the rooms and early room service and we would pay for a full sea view next time!

We have recently returned from a holiday at this hotel. There was a great choice of food and the hotel was very clean. Loved the beach bar ! Staff very friendly and would definitely recommend Colette the residential hairdresser who was very efficient and was nice to meet her lovely family who were over for a wedding. Also a big thanks to Stella who works at the pool bar - she made the best margaritas ! Would definitely go back.

After returning to the St George after a fabulous holiday in 2019 i am absolutely gobsmacked as to how poor this hotel has become. Ive stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past but I would never ever return! The food is just of the worst quality and is not fresh. It’s no where near where is used to be and I wouldn’t say it was any better than a 2 star. The breakfast has really shocked me this visit, it’s poor quality, overcooked, little choices compared to previous visits. Lunch is mainly what’s left over from the night before, reheated and renamed.. EG Cypriot night kleftico becomes lamb tagine then it becomes lamb tavas!!! It’s just tough pieces of meat that have more bone with very little flavour! Another pet hate was the dried up pizza that resembled cardboard, the pasta that was all congealed as it had sat under heated lamps for good knows how long… it’s a really sorry state and only a former shadow of how it has always been in the past. I always looked forward to the deserts as they were fabulous before well, you now have a choice of artificial flavoured mousse cake, squashed profiteroles, hard jelly & the 1 hot choice which normally was the pancakes that hadn’t been used from breakfast.. oh and not forgetting the icecream that was normally melted as the freezer has seen better days. We were lucky enough to have the extra mo et to be able to eat out at so E lovely tavernas and restaurants but feel cheated after upgrading h to all inclusive😔 The grounds are tired and the maintenance leaves a lot to be desired, mildew & mould in the pool area found floating past us that I had to capture in a plastic cup and pass to the girl behind the pool bar, there’s scum on tiles, broken flooring, mirrors in lift taped up, air conditioning that just makes a noise, dead grass, uneven steps where bits have fallen off, broken sun beds, broken tables by the sun beds and a jacuzzi that doesn’t work anymore.. Having paid more for a side sea view room I don’t expect the noise that came from the staged area every night especially karaoke where groups of people screeched and bellowed out nothing but noise. We couldn’t sit on our balcony and enjoy the peace and quiet. Also the noise around the pool is just overbearing at times. People getting as drunk as they can around the pool bar and swearing and screaming. Just not what we expected or what we had experienced on prior visits. Lastly we didn’t arrive until 2am so missed our first night completely we were told that check out had to be by 12 midday on day we are leaving however we don’t get picked up until 21.30pm so tried to book a late check out.. was told no rooms available so to use the spa facilities, no room available anywhere in the hotel??? Really!! Anyway i went to see the facilities available in the spa and there is just a changing cubicle and a shower but no where to dry my hair! Should just have plugged my hairdryer in at reception maybe,, this has been the final straw with this visit and when you try to offer constructive feedback you just get told it’s getting changed next year and all will be better!! Just not good enough when your here now,, lots of people we spoke to have said the same especially people that have been loyal customers over the years. It’s such a shame but we wouldn’t waste our hard earned money to return and hope this review just makes you really look into whether you want to waste your money too 😢

Dear Voyager49191549551, Thank you very much for taking time to share your comments on TripAdvisor community. We are sad to know that we have not met your expectations and that you will not recommend us after your third visit at the resort. However, after carefully reading your review and liaison with the departments involved, we would like to point out the following: 1. Your comments regarding food quality come in contradiction with many of our recent reviews as well as with our internal feedback. Our chefs cook daily, and the quality is strictly monitored so it can meet our standards. Moreover, the breakfast menu remains the same as 2019 with a few more additions such as bread station and salads. We are strictly not recooking as you have mentioned nor reheating therefore, we are refusing any statement regarding this matter. The hotel follows strict HCCP guidelines as well as ISO 9001 and 22000 systems are properly implemented. 2. We are constantly maintaining our hotel facilities and grounds. The broken mirror that is mentioned in your review have been already replaced, there is no dead grass in the hotel premises (maybe you are referring to adjacent properties that are not under our management) as well as we have pool attendants that monitor the cleanliness of the pool area every day. 3. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our entertainment activities (from the complimentary upgraded pool and sea view room), nonetheless we have not received any complaint by yourself during your stay with us so we could act accordingly. 4. In regards with late check out, please note that regular check out time is at 12:00pm. Regretfully, since the hotel is fully booked, we had no availability at the time requested. However, our front office informed you to visit on the next day in case there was any room cancelation but unfortunately you have not showed up. 5. For health and safety reasons we cannot have hairdryers in the spa. Our guest relations officer has offered access in our hair-salon but regretfully, we have not seen such a mention in your review. Indeed, they will be a lot of improvements as from April 2023 (4 new a la carte restaurants, second outdoor swimming pool and bar, fully refurbishment of main restaurant plus one cafe patisserie bar) regardless however, we are always listening to our guests, especially when constructive feedback is provided to further improve our services. Lastly, we believe that this is not a fair review compared to what our hotel facilities and services are offering. Thank you again for being our guest, and we wish you pleasant future travels. Warmest regards, The management

Spent a week here for a wedding that I was attending. The hotel was immaculate, food was exemplary and the staff were just fantastic. The faculties were very good, a lot on offer throughout the day and into the evening. The bar staff during the day at the pool bar and at night were so friendly and welcoming, always willing to help and served with a smile on their face. The entertainment staff were so so friendly, never was not smiling, Denisa and Paula were so friendly and always wanted to get people involved in the activities. They would always chat to you through the day. At night their entertainment was such fun with bingo, Karaoke and quizzes. I would 100% recommend coming to this hotel if visiting Paphos.

Beautiful location, nice clean rooms, but the thing that stand out was most staff were nice and friendly. All of the people incredibly helpful. Lots different variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At dinner time they must have a theme so each night was different but then again so was lunch. Beautiful view from balcony to watch the sun set most nights. Lovely big beds in the room the rooms were quite big. They had loads of different activities to do during the day with lovely entertainment people. Made friends with them for life even though I was only there a week

Just back from a lovely week in Cyprus. Excellent hotel. Very pleasant staff. Loads of sunbeds to be found round the pool, in the trees near the sea front and on the sea front itself. Excellent bus service. Tui rep arranged a hire car for us which was ideal to have a look around Excellent choice of meals at the hotel. Would recommend

The hotel and staff were lovely. Always friendly abs willing to help. The all inclusive package however wasn’t of a great quality but there are a couple of restaurants and bars nearby was was ok. I was really disappointed with the rowdiness of guests in the pool - I wasn’t expecting screeching, swearing boisterous drunken antics - more like a club 18 to 30’s. Really disappointed won’t be returning.
