We chose the Azia Hotel and Spa because the reviews consistently mention how fantastic the people who work there are - I’m pleased to say the reviews are true and I even think they are even better than I expected! From the moment you arrive, nothing is too much trouble. Checking in was a breeze, the room was fabulous and the people who look after you at meals times are nothing short of amazing. The Guest Relations Manager was so helpful - she personally greeted each new arrival at breakfast and made sure all guests knew they were welcome to pop and see her anytime. We went to see her to find out where to visit in the area and the best ways to get there. She took the time to go through everything in detail and it made our holiday so much more enjoyable. The food choice and quality at breakfast were excellent and we also visited 3 or 4 of the ‘a la carte’ restaurants. Our favourite was the Asian restaurant but they were all great. The outdoor pool area (with sun beds) is large enough for everyone to find a space that suits and there’s a heated indoor pool for those who want to enjoy the water away from the sun. The Hotel is about 7-8km away from Paphos but we were aware of that and found the buses to get into Town really affordable and frequent. Alternatively, you can hire bicycles (which we did) and cycle along the promenade into Paphos. Electrical scooters were also available for hire as well. Overall, I would highly recommend the Azia - we will definitely be returning.

My wife and I are not used to staying in large hotels, but (without exception) all the staff are excellent and go that extra mile to ensure that we are having a great holiday. Our room is one of their premium, sea view rooms and it's spotlessly clean and comfortable. Elena is our cleaner and she's marvellous - thank you Elena! We are staying in the adult only wing of the hotel and we haven't been troubled by noisy kids - the adult only pool and garden areas are equally child free and pleasant 😀 I had a complimentary massage today in the spa, which was fabulous. I recommend Dipa, she was really excellent and gave me the best massage I have ever had - thanks Dipa 😊 If you need a break and just want to relax and do nothing then seriously consider Azia Resort. Of course there is plenty to do if you want to explore Cyprus..... Nino, the main restaurant manager is lovely she looks after everyone as if they are her family! Her staff love her just as much as the guests and everything runs smoothly. We go home on Tuesday but we are already thinking about returning in October. FIVE STARS and deservedly so!

Azia is a relaxed 5* hotel with great staff. We were upgraded on arrival to a Junior Suite which came with access to the premium lounge which was great as it meant we had free tea/ coffee / snacks throughout the day even though we were half board! The bedroom was lovely, large, with twin beds and a seating area inside and outside. All spotlessly cleaned and well stocked daily by our cleaner Elena who also came back at night for turn down service and a quick chat! Paul on reception who carried our bags and gave us a tour of the room and its function was really kind and continually made the effort to check in with us throughout our stay. The food was good and the buffet had a lot of variety and was cooked to a good standard. There were always lots of staff on hand to clear plates/ offer drinks. Shout out to Nino who went above and beyond everyday to speak to my friend and I and give us ideas of what to do if the sun wasnt out! The Asian restaurant was the best but the food took a while to come, not a problem when it was so fresh! Thank you to Alice for her great hosting at the restaurants outside the buffet! The facilitilies are good with lots of sun beds, pools and activitites. The staff at reception helped us rent a car and were really helpful throughout! Perfect for a short burst of sun and relaxation!

Great hotel, great food, great staff. This was our 5th visit to Cyprus over the last few years (always 5 star all inclusive) and the Azia is the best. Possibly helped that it was early season and the hotel was quiet. Reception, Restaurants Manager, Concierges, Bar Staff and Housekeeping - nothing was a problem. We'll be back.

We cannot put into words how amazing our holiday was. From the minute you enter the hotel the staff are so welcoming very polite and helpful. We were upgraded to a premium room with a sea view which was beautiful and very comfortable with lots of extras as a premium guest. The buffet was excellent as were the staff. The a La carte was amazing. Highly recommend a holiday here, we are already planning our return and have told all our friends about it. We miss you already.

Things were different in 2004. We hadn't experienced a global pandemic, people still bought music and went to the cinema, I still had hair. And that particular year was topped off by marrying my fiancée, Claire, in a wonderful wedding at the Azia Beach hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. Happily, 20 years later, we were able to leave two children at home and return to celebrate our anniversary. In some style, too. I cannot thank the hotel and its staff enough for making the week feel as special as they did. From Johanna in guest relations, Charlie in reception, Alex in the Cava Bar and the whole team down at poolside, their warmth and generosity made for a fantastic experience, completely validating our decision to come back. The hotel had expanded, with particular attention to premium guests, but generally retained a striking aesthetic, with huge palm trees dominating the central lobby, and even growing out of the lobby roof. As it was late March/early April, the hotel was fairly quiet with plenty of space around the pool. Nevertheless the whole place was maintained spotlessly, to the highest standard. Azia Beach proudly show off the awards won by the hotel and its spa, and my wife can vouch for the quality of the back massage. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had booked into the adults-only section of the hotel and were treated to an upgrade to one of the sea-view suites with a large balcony and sofa/living room area. There was also a separate bath and shower, which comes in handy. There are a handful of themed restaurant nights with a la carte food - we chose a Tex-Mex night on the night of our actual anniversary. And, once again, we were well treated, with a lovely decorated cake supplied by the staff. The main buffet area is very large, with plenty of seating inside and out. I am a fairly adventurous eater, and had very few complaints about the selection and quality of food throughout. Breakfast was especially good, catering well for UK tastes. One minor gripe is the availability of bottled water - which you rather have to 'hunt down' rather than have it freely available in fridges, as has been the case in similar places we have visited. Both of us enjoy a drink or two, and on that front the staff were first class. Whether you like a cold beer, a glass or wine, or a tropical cocktail, you are very well-catered for as an all-inclusive guests. There is also an extra half-hour 'aperitif' slot in the evening for premium guests where they push the cocktail list even further. Well worth it, for those who fancy something extra special. Premium guests also have use of a special lounge, which has later breakfast snacks, afternoon tea, coffee, newspapers and books to read all day. Some of the fancier offerings were straight out of a French patisserie, and again made things feel just a little grander. I am finding it difficult to nit-pick and present a review with more balance - and I suppose the lack of a really accessible, sandy beach would be a minus for some. We were married at the top of the cliff face and spent much of our return seeking down the exact spots of our wedding pics and re-creating the poses. In truth, I didn't really miss the feeling of sand between my toes. There are easy excursions out to the old town and harbour (the 615 bus is excellent, by the way, and also heads up to the sandier Coral Beach). But I never felt the need to wander far, with the hotel providing so much. There are sections of the hotel which are clearly aimed at older guests, without kids, but the families we spoke to over the week were also having a whale of a time. I would assume that when the resort is busier, the amount of activity offered to the younger ones would increase, also. Overall, I can only thank the staff at the Azia Beach for making our week so enjoyable. It is a special place for us now - and I am sure we will be back again, hopefully sooner than 2044!

We arrived just before the Easter week and were made to feel like royalty. Walking into the hotel we were greeted with drinks and a really friendly happy welcome (this was prevalent with all staff we came across). Our bags were whisked away from us and taken up to our FREE upgraded junior suite (with a jacuzzi) by the porter (again very friendly and happy). The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, enough to accommodate 2 adults and a child. We were surprised by the 2 bottles of wine and fruit on arrival in the room which we enjoyed. The terrace had sun loungers, seating and a jacuzzi which we all loved. The room had UK plugs & USB sockets which we didn’t expect and a real help. The only complaint regarding the room was bottled water wasn't provided only available in the mini bar (at cost). We opted for half board as we didn’t want to feel as though we had to stay in the hotel but we found ourselves wanting to stay and enjoy all the facilities including the indoor pool, the sun loungers on the terrace (massive sun trap) and the small beach. The food was brilliant and the waitering staff were terrific! They made it personal and honoured our needs (especially our sons). The drinks menu is reasonably priced and have a broad selection. Again the bar staff were great, genuine, honest people. The entertainment wasn’t in full swing however, Chris made our holiday fun and enjoyable, involving all the kids in activities as well as the adults. In conclusion the hotel is special, the staff make it a really nice place and nothing was too much to ask. (They even gave us a push chair to use) I think the main ethos of the hotel is everyone is equal and the staff don’t judge and everyone is level which is rare nowadays. We loved our stay and hope to return in the near future.

I have stayed at Azia Resort &Spa many times in many different months over the past couple of years and can honestly say, that even during busier months, the customer service, quality and attention to detail are of the highest standard. The hotel rooms, grounds and public areas are kept to an excellent standard, always comfortable, clean and tidy. There were plenty of sun beds and a lovely variety of places to sit. The pools are super clean too. The food and drinks are a very high standard and if there is something you need which is not on the menu, just ask. Bar and restaurant areas were always clean, with plenty of helpful, friendly staff. It was easy to get out and about, there is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to Paphos Harbour one way and Coral Bay the other. There are taxis available very quickly too. I would like to thank all the staff for the time and care they took to look after me and make my stay as memorable as always. I cannot list names of everyone here, but the following individuals showed me true Cyprus hospitality, Ioanna, Rodoula, Panayiotis, Nino and her amazing team, Viorel and his lovely team and Albert the hotel manager, for his welcome. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates comfort, great food and drink and a staff who work hard to make a holiday that bit extra special. This is not a large hotel and so I feel that you benefit from a more personal service, where your great holiday experience is their priority.
