This is a good pub, with a good selection of beers, good pub food at reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere. The place is clean and tidy and the staff are very customer focussed. Eaten here on several ocassions and alway had a good experience. Whilst the menu is limited there is something for everyone and the quality of the... More

I did not want to go in, put off by appearance of pub. (Lunchtime) Having failed to manage to go to our first choice. Surprised at the cost of meals on menu. Had very expensive (we thought £9.00) Ham and chips. Pleasantly surprised. Definitely home baked ham, plenty of it and very good, Good draught bitter. Was doing a brisk... More

Quick surf had us hungry for a beer and chips. The Duke didn't disappoint. Corona and a giant bowl of cheesy chips. They even had sweet chilli sauce and mayo! Refuelled enough for another surf as the sun set :D

You can't miss this pub as it's the only one! Very welcoming with lots of seating in and out. The menu was good with some chef's specials. Go hungry as large portions! All nicely freshly cooked and at very reasonable cost. Dogs are welcome by the way. We will certainly visit again.

We stayed at the campsite next door for a week over summer, but as the weather a lot of the time wasn't camping friendly (especially for cooking!) we tried The Duke of Edinburgh Inn for some pub grub. We weren't disappointed! We got there early teatime (we had two young children with us) and found a table to fit us... More

I took 10 of my family earlier this week. We rang at short notice and were accommodated. The staff were particularly friendly. The food, we all agreed, was crisp ,clean and of good quality. We all enjoyed our food. Some comments on here about the place are miss guided. As its a pub, that serves great pub grub. It has... More

The Duke of Edinburgh could be a really good place to stay, great location, nice rooms but it isn't, at best (because it is let down on so many levels) it's just average. Gripes: Booking isn't easy, I had to leave messages with the owner/manager's mother, never got a confirmation email. Only instructions were to ring on the day we... More

Went to The Duke of Edinburgh to use the restaurant facilities in a group of about 20 people (we had previously booked). The quality of the food was superb and the service was excellent. This was not the first visit and will not be the last I am sure. The pub itself is in a fantastic location - especially in... More

This place is located at an amazing beach and we stopped there for lunch on our way to St David's cathedral. I had scampi and my friend had gammon and egg with all the trimmings. We were served within a reasonable time and the food was hot and plentiful. We sat outside as we had our dog with us and... More
