Excellent stay at this lovely hotel. We had 2 rooms and both were warm clean and comfortable. It is in a lovely area with free parking. The breakfast was very nice with both continental and full cooked. All the staff were friendly and pleasant however one remark let this down. We were using the toaster when the bread got stuck, a member of staff came to help us( she was the one who also worked front of house when checking in) there were 4 of us so were making 6 slices of toast, her remark was said quite rudely " how many slices are you actually having". This made us feel quite uncomfortable and to be honest was quite unnecessary. Despite this remark we did have a lovely stay and would definitely stay again and also recommend.

Great location and restaurant, but our room was not fit for purpose. The plastic shower 'pod' was so small that this 6' 3" individual could not fit in or move about in it. Generally the room facilities were much like a boarding house rather than a good hotel. We tried to change the room but no one took this request seriously. Perhaps it was just the room we were given but in case that is the problem just avoid room 2 in the main building! We stayed for two nights and the bathroom was not cleaned overnight. Service overall was quite apathetic. At no time was there any evidence of 'management'. Not for going back to.

Lovely friendly Hotel. We really loved our room, 3, it was very comfortable, quiet, large and beautifully decorated. Complimentary wine and water was an added bonus and a really lovely touch. Thank you. The food was excellent and dinner very reasonable (set menu with plenty of choice, 2 courses £20 3 courses £25) We could walk to the Mumbles high street then the pier, along the front from the hotel, via the beach front promenade, 2 mins from the hotel. Easy to drive around the Gower Peninsula from here too. Highly recommend the drive to Rhossili Beach... Stunning Views and Sandy beach.

We stayed in September for my husband's birthday. What a beautiful haven of a hotel this is. We had a very large room which was so comfortable and clean. Complimentary bottle of wine too. Excellent bathroom, walk in shower all spotlessly clean. The food was really nice too and the staff excellent. They had some weddings on but they did not disturb us. Great hotel in a great location thank you
