We stayed one night here while visiting Stavanger. Got a very good deal considering how much other hotels in Stavanger costs. We had a car so the distance wasn’t problem to us. The hotel is patient hotel to the hospital so in corona times it’s good to be careful when you stay in here. Basic room with toilet and shower. Perfect for one night. Quiet and good to sleep. You could buy breakfast from the hospital cantina. Car parking was 160kr for one night.
Father and son stay Thursday - Saturday to explore nearby Stavanger. One of the factors when picking this hotel was it was on the bus route and less than a couple of miles from Stavanger so figured it would be a nice walk or short bus ride each day into the town, breakfast was also included with our booking. First thing first this is a Hotel next to the local Hospital. It turns out this is actually accommodation for hospital residents also with wheelchairs about the place and lots of newborns in the restaurant in the morning was a pleasant surprise. The room was as you’d expect for the price two beds pushed together separate blankets. Small fridge. One working sidelight - one not. Small area for hanging 3 or 4 items and a TV on the wall and a desk. Decent sized shower (Wheelchair friendly) and bathroom area - Although there was a step up into the bathroom which made no sense and also the cause of a couple of stubbed toes when going to the loo in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. Breakfast. Fresh juices. 3 choices of eggs - soft / Hard or scrambled Mini hot dog style sausages Muesli Fresh breads Cold cuts of meat 3 cereals Bus route outside: No bus on the weekend to the airport runs past the hospital so you have to get a local bus into the city. Taxi to town 167 Kr Walk into the city 25 mins …
We booked this hotel not knowing that it’s actually a hotel attached to a hospital. Initially it made us anxious to see a lot of new born babies with their mothers for the breakfast buffet and patients roaming around with their drip.. but we soon got over it .. the service is very good .. clean rooms, helpful staff and 24*7 store is a big plus .. the bus stop is very close to the hotel will will cost approx 39Nok one way to the city centre ... Honestly, if you are without a car I would recommend staying in the city centre but all in all no complaints
A nice clean hotel attached to the hospital. Breakfast was very good quite clean room at a good price. Comfortable bed would have scored better if it had a kettle in the room. Central heating was quiet and worked very well
I stayed at the Hi Hostels through Hotels.com and it was a very good value. I was a very sceptic when ordering but at that value, I had to check it out. The concept is a bit genius combining a Hi Hostel and hospital accommodation. Because of that, it was very allergy-friendly, very good security, a 24/7 kiosk and you could buy your food at the restaurant that seemed ok. I vent to the nearest grocery store, which seemed like had the lunsh for all the nurses to it was no trouble. They have parking for money but it seemed like it's roadside parking close by.
The hotel is connected to the hospital. To check in you have to take the main entrance in the hospital. Parking is in the garage next to the hospital which costs about 100 nrk for 1 night. In the morning you can have breakfast in the cafeteria.
Clean, basic with most of what you need, so hard to complain, but not much personality. It is worth mentioning that the hotel is almost a part of the main hospital in the area, so you are among patients and the hotel seems to have been planned for patients or their relatives. We booked through an agency, and nothing was mentioned about this until we got the confirmation of the room. As such information is essential, it should have been made clearly known already before booking. The room was fine, sleeping quality fair, a bit hard bed. A heavy air conditioning seemed not possible to switch off, which was a bit annoying. The room had TV and most facilities could be borrowed at the reception. I never found out about any wifi, but it is probably there somewhere. Breakfast was average with cold, scrambled eggs, a bit unusual. Parking is available, but very expensive. Signposting of elevators and stairs are missing.…
A basic hotel situated at a hospital, caring for both tourist an patients at the hospital. My room was quite large and very basic. Ok beds, only one comfortable chair if you are two, no shampoo or conditioner. A small fridge. No cosy details, just basics. , Clean rooms. A bit too far from city centre.
u basically sleep in a branch of the hospital, the feeling is that you are staying in a room where patients used to stay. at least is clean and has wonderful showers, plus downstairs there is a sort of restaurant. a coffe is 29 which is average so you can have also breakfast without spending the 95 for the full one, and the only thing is that you have to pay extra for the parking spot. but it's expensinve everywhere so it's fine. if you drive to city it's okay, otherwse a lil bit too far from the centre
We stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean room with fridge. You have to pay for parking, witch is a bit expensive. About 20 min from city center when walking and busses just outside. Recommend this place if you want a low price hotel close to city center.
