We got a cornerroom on the 11th floor, we were a family of four and had 2 extra beds in the room. The room was still spacious. Lovely view of the city centre from the room. There were Covid 19 measures in place and we felt safe during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had a spacious family room with a nice view on the 6th floor. Unfortunately, the wifi was dreadful. Once we went to the dining area on the 3rd floor it instantly got better, so one of the bigger minuses. The bathroom was big, and we had a bathtub, so it was really nice. The breakfast was a fantastic, wide variety, fresh, they even had vitamins. The eating area was spacious and light, tastefully decorated with a cozy fireplace. The staff said hello and was very friendly. The Lithuanian girl was especially nice. One giant minus along with the wifi, unfortunately, was the parking. Other than that, a truly delightful stay.

Treated ourselves to a rare Covid restricted overnight stay in town. Good dbb deal attracted the Scotsman in me. Nice clean bright not so big room on the 11th floor . Easy check in with pleasant chatty receptionist . Dinner was a tale of two halves , good food spoiled by erratic service . We had read on numerous brochures that Saturday breakfast began at 0700 so when we turned up at 0700 we were informed that it didn’t actually start till 0800 but we could start with what was on display . This lead to me eating somewhat more than I should have as new fresh products arrived . Being half Scottish , half Hobbit I enjoyed breakfast immensely. I should say the breakfast spread is one of the best I have ever seen in Europe . On the whole an enjoyable stay despite the dubious restaurant service.

We spent a couple’s weekend in Stavanger and stayed at the Clarion Hotel. We arrived in the afternoon and the receptionist made us feel very welcome. As it turned out, we had been upgraded to a large room on the top floor, with an amazing view of the city and the bay. The room was quiet and clean, had a minibar and coffee machine, and we had a good night’s sleep on the comfy bed. All in all, a very good experience, and we will certainly come again when we next visit Stavanger!

We had multiple times problem getting a elevator alone. The elevators were way to small to be more then your group. We booked a suite, thinking it would be something newer and bigger then a regular hotel room. We had a lovely sofa with chairs, but missing a table. In the bath tube we found a flying ant, the next neighbor under or on the side smoked a terrible sigarett, making the whole room smell terrible, and we had to have the windows open because of the destroyed climate control. Middle of the night there was a race outside out room, plenty of party happening in this hotel. Breakfast was good, but not covid19 compliant in holding the golden meter as the hotel calls it. We are locals that was staying a night away from baby first night, planning to get a good sleep and not all these problems.
