Stayed 1 night for business. Nice designed hotel with best location in central Bergen. Got complimentary upgrade as a choice gold member. Upon check-in the receptionist made sure I got the best room available. Small and nice breakfast with plenty of choices and everything was fresh and cosy.

This hotel is not only in the heart of the city of Bergen but absolutely amazing! Ticks every box in a hotel experience from being spotless, ambience is great, the breakfast is fantastic! The staff are friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here next time we visit Bergen and I highly recommend to anyone visiting Bergen. This is the place to stay! Indeed home away from home.

Not functionable TV, no netflix or youtube only boring Norwegian TV. Room service was good, great breakfast and dessert. Rooms aren’t exactly as it shows on website, Didn’t felt like it was worth over 300 euros per night when you had to watch a movie on your phone.

This hotel gave me an awesome experience. They have created a calm, romantic pleasant atmosphere. It's located as central as you can get in Bergen. Price is very reasonable. Finally a hotel where the windows can open fully to get a good night sleep. The hotel is located As central as it is possible to get to Bergen. Nice breakfast. I will definitely stay here again. My tripadvisor score is as always a result of considering price/quality.

The breakfast is very nice. The staff also. But the design of the hotel is over det top. In the corridors there are tacky photos of undressed musicians. it's really bad taste. The room is nice...I think. It was hard to see. There was light just in the bathroom and by the bed. If you come here to work, to read, to write, as I did, forget it.

The room was big and the furniture was of a high quality, but the bathroom was really small. When I ordered the Deluxe-room I was hoping that this would give me a bigger bathroom to relax in, but I believe my bed was bigger than the bathroom (and the bed was of a normal size). The room itself was very nice with a very comfortable bed, nice furniture and a view to the streets outside. The TV however was old and malfunctioned by the sound falling out after about 20-30 minutes of watching. It also could not cast movies from the phone to the TV, which is disapointing in this modern age.

My wife and I had made plans to travel to Norway before the COVID virus hit. Because my wife has a weak immune system (and because most of the world was shutting down), we decided well in advance of our trip (scheduled for May, 2020) to cancel our plans. While airlines and hotels were all being hurt by the shutdown, we were impressed and grateful (we are retired and live on a fixed income) by the almost universal approach to our situation. The airline granted us a full refund. Whether we went through Orbitz or Expedia, it didn't matter -- EVERY hotel in Norway granted us a full refund -- with one extraordinary exception. Hotel Oleana insisted on keeping our full deposit. They have it to this day. I just wrote to them one last time last week (a YEAR after our first request for a refund). They didn't bother to respond. Dead silence -- with our money in their pockets. Stay here if you wish. It's probably a pretty hotel. But if I were going to visit Bergen, I suspect there are plenty of hotels who genuinely understand customer service -- and deserve our business more than these folks do. All of Norway should be proud of how supported we were.....yes, with this one exception. Shame on Hotel Oleana.

We spent 3 nights at this excellent little hotel at the end of July. The hotel was fully booked, but we didn’t really notice this, except at breakfast - I recommend not choosing the latest seating like us, as it was quite crowded (but it was not an hour before!). The staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating, and our rooms were very nice, quiet and clean. Great breakfast! I had a small problem with noisy ventilation in my room, but this was dealt with to my satisfaction. All in all I see no reason to try another hotel for our next stay, which is already booked!
