We spent 3 nights at this excellent little hotel at the end of July. The hotel was fully booked, but we didn’t really notice this, except at breakfast - I recommend not choosing the latest seating like us, as it was quite crowded (but it was not an hour before!). The staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating, and our rooms were very nice, quiet and clean. Great breakfast! I had a small problem with noisy ventilation in my room, but this was dealt with to my satisfaction. All in all I see no reason to try another hotel for our next stay, which is already booked!

Nice and clean rooms, very moderen. Near to citycentrum. Good breakfast with a great choose of everything. Not so good service in the restaurant in the evening. The food was good but the staff was not so friendly

If you want to top your stay in Bergen we advice you to stay at Hotel Oleana. Great service, nice rooms and a restaurant where you'll find it all. The design of the hotel is a brave mix of futurism, tackyness and marked place. Who would have thought that this combo could work. But it does, I guess the architect knew.. :)

The best things about this hotel are its location and the breakfast spread! Located right in the center of town and a 5 minute walk from the harbour, this is a great base to explore Bergen. The rooms are on the smaller size which is no issue, however one side of the building has so much noise at night from outside, we didn't sleep a wink. So make sure you ask for a quiet room if you're a light sleeper. We complained the next morning and were moved with no issues. The pillows are awful, so lumpy and uneven. Every single one of them in both rooms. Not sure why places find it so hard to just have good quality firm pillows! The breakfast spread was a feast for the eyes, probably one of the best by far and I've seen LOTS! There's no way you would struggle for choice here.Their restaurant also served great Mexican food, some of the best I've tasted. The only thing I would suggest to change, is the choice in awful music continually played in the lobby/restaurant area. Slow, dreary and depressing drivel. How about some upbeat cheery music management!!!

Check in was ok and quick, had hurry so just left my suitcase in the room without looking so carefully in the room I had been given. When I returned in the afternoon, I went into the bathroom. There was a pest animal on the floor (in norwegian its called skjeggkre). Fortunately, I had not opened the suitcase. Went down to reception to told them and got one new room, This was very dirty, the floor of the bedroom was full of debris etc ,, the bathroom was full of stains, dirt and a hair ball in the shower. Then I went down to the reception and got one new room which was ok, but unfortunately my stay was ruined for my part as I did not relax very much considering what I saw in the first room and constantly had to take my precautions when I was scared to bring something in my luggage home. On a positive note the hotel is very central.
