I booked via Booking.com, but as I did not actually stay I could not write a review for them. I arrived in the rain at the "hotel" at 15:45 to find a notice on the locked front door to see the barman in the hotel next door for the key. After receiving the key I entered the deserted foyer and... More

Very poor hotel, the reception works only from 1000 to 1500, at other hours you have to ppick up your keys at the nearby pub, the pub itself is open until 0330 every night, making a lot of noise and the smell of cigarette smokers comes up to the rooms even with closed windows. Windows does not have curtains of... More

im writing this as my honest opinion.... right here we go,this place look much better on the web sites and pictures, its an old building converted into hotel rooms,it is very tired and unwelcoming,i have stayed at cheaper hostels that are a lot nicer and cheaper. the whole place is noisy from doors backing echoing through the building and the very... At first sight, the hotel seemed basic : a bed, a table, an armoire, a kind of bathroom (nonfunctional at all, when sitting on the toilet, the sink is behind you and you can litteraly take a shower at the same time). But most important : There are BED BUG !! And NO ONE to speak to. The manager is... More

To list the negatives of this hotel would take longer than the trip itself. It would be easier to list the positives: - Location (However, even that became a problem due to the late night/early morning noise of the surrounding pubs and 8am wake up calls from the Church Bells). If the lack of: sleep; comfort; quiet; space; chairs; mirrors;... More

f you are looking for something cheap, then this is the right choice. The price is the lowest among other hotels, internet somehow was working, however it was not one of the fastest or of a high capacity, yet you can check your e-mails and communicate on viber. There is a kitchen where you can prepare your own food. The... More

first of all, I was surprised to see a hotel with more than 3 floors with no lifts! i stayed on 2nd floor but i cant imagine how it must have been for an old couple i saw climbing to the 5 th floor! the rooms are so small and not much space to move! There was such a "friendly... More

It is the cheapest lodging in town. Being budget travelers we know the rule of you get what you pay for. Like so many of these "type" of properties, a bit more attention and effort on the part of management would go a long way. We stayed on a Thursday night so we did not have the bar music noise... The hotel is in a very nice historical building and it's position is central The problem is inside, the stairs looks like the one of a stockroom, the bathroom was probably designed by a blind architect, the toilet was in front of the sink, and we had for all the night very noisy next door neighbours ( you know what... Great location! However, the room we stayed in was quite small. Hard to maneuver 2 large suitcases up 4 levels, so it's ok if you only have an overnight bag. Bathroom/shower is very small, can practically sit on the toilet whilst having a shower. Not sure if all rooms are like this. Again, great location as its close walking distance... More
