Staying at Anne's was a very special experience ! The many small things Anne did to make our stay as memorable as it was, were actually big things. Bergen is beautiful and this B&B was the perfect fit. The location was excellent (within easy walking distance from the ferry & the town centre minutes away), our room small but cosy... More

We stayed at Anne Helene's house for one night only before catching the Hurtigruten ferry North. Situated in a delightful part of old Bergen, her house is very thoughtfully and colourfully decorated. Anne is a great hostess who will help if asked but basically leaves you get on with it. This is the Norwegian way. Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious.... More

Anne is a wonderful host and we had a great stay. Priced competitively, great location, cute room and bathroom with privacy, and delicious breakfast! You do have to pay 100 NOK for a parking pass if you have a car, and the parking is tight. Wifi in bedroom had very low signal and we could barely use it. Otherwise wonderful.

Anne Helene's house is a unique experience of artistic vision. Exquisite colour-schemes delight on every door and wall with beautiful paintings everywhere. Yes, the bedroom is TINY, but cosy and comfortable with all you might need including use of a computer. The bathroom is heavenly with more tasteful decor and brightly coloured towels. The breakfast was one of the very... More

Are you also one of those people who likes to avoid those big hotel chains, that feel so impersonal and lack character? If the answer is yes, you'll like AnneHelene's. Bergen is a picturesque city, and this is the way it's supposed to be experienced. This B&B is located in one of the coziest districts of Bergen, among narrow streets... More

We couldn't ask for a better room for us for a night's stay in Bergen. With Anne's directions it was easy to take the bus from the airport and walk through the city streets to the apartment. It is in a quaint cobble stoned walking path area of town, mostly residential and quiet. A quick walk out the back and... More

I stayed here for 1 night in April and was more than happy. Anne Helene's service before my arrival was faultless and she provided me with a great map that was invaluable. The house is in a great area, full of characterful wood properties and only 10 mins walk from the domestic ferry terminal and Torget area. There's no denying... More

We stayed for two nights (first and last days in Norway) at Anne Helene's B&B. The house is perfectly located very close to the town centre and the touristic area. The room is a bit small but well equipped, with a small tea/coffee service aside breakfast, a computer is even available, so perfect for a couple on a short visit.... More

You're staying in a room on the ground floor of a local house in a real neighborhood (not in the tourist area) But just 10 minutes by foot to the heart of town. The room is private and feels separate from the house with its own entrance. You have everything you need, wifi, laptop, coffee/tea, bathroom amenities, etc The key... More
