We spent three nights in this nice old wooden house in the most beautiful part of Bergen. The position is really great: you can walk everywhere in the city center and get the most interesting attractions of Bergen. The room was clean and modern, with a very confortable bed. There's the possibility to have some cup of coffe or tea,...

Really enjoyed our stay here! Comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom, area to make coffee and tea. It was just a really nice, comfortable, pleasant stay. A bit of a walk to the main area but a nice walk to take!

Private apartment in really pretty and quiet residential area, close enough to walk to the old town center. For parking in the nearby streets (steep and narrow!) we bought a card from the owner, on which you scratch date and time of arrival (100 NOK for 24 h). We had a lovely modern double room, the shared bathroom is spacious...

I had a great room and I knew security was never an issue. The bedroom and bathroom were renovated nicely. It's a nice walk from the centre of town and even better is that it is very near the start of a fantastic hike where you will see panoramic views of Bergen. There is so much hiking once up there,...

We stayed for one night at the Bergen Guesthouse on Stolemout, that was close to town and thus very convenient. The rooms were on the small side, but neat and clean. The house is old, but in perfect shape. After the first night our hosts moved us to bigger quarters a couple of blocks up the street. There we had...

I did not find any hotel room in Bergen, so in the end I got here. i don't regret it at all. It was very clean, the people were nice, it was close to Bryggen (even if there's a steep walk to get to the house), it was not expensive. If only there had been a table, even a common...

While it has a good many attributes,  by far the most positive aspect of staying at Bergen Guesthouse is its budget-minded price - and a most important attribute it is, especially to anyone who had paid for lodging in this very pricey city. Bergen Guesthouse will set the traveler back about $150 US dollars, and while at first glance may...

Visiting Bergen and staying in the Bergen Guesthouse was one of the highlights of our journey through Scandinavia. We stayed in the small room, which was absolutely cozy. Matt, who with Andreas, runs the guesthouse, was super friendly and help us with all our questions. Staying in the Bergen Guesthouse reminded me of being at my family cottage in Muskoka,...
