We stayed in a private room with a private bath at this hotel/hostel and we loved it. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was functional. The only quirky thing is that the shower doors didn't close completely at the bottom and the...More
I stayed in a 4-bed dorm for one night and was pleasantly surprised by the sumptuous breakfast that was waiting for me in the morning. I knew that breakfast was included in the room rate, but was expecting something more meagre, so was thrilled to...More

From the airport you have "Flytoget" airport express train, It takes about 20 min depending if it is the direct train or the one stopping at Lillestrøm etc. "Flytoget" stops at Oslo S (Oslo Sentral Station). From Oslo S you can choose to walk up the main street (Karl Johans Gate) and then follow the side-street (Kongens Gate). This takes about ten to fifteen minutes depending on how fast you walk and how much you carry. If you have a lot of luggage you can take the bus (I remember seeing one stopping right outside the hostel) or the tram (google maps tells you that tram number 12,13,19 stops right on the corner of Kongens Gate and Tollbugata). Now with "Flytoget" you can choose to pay with just swiping your creditcard or buying a ticket at the airport bf taking the escalator down to the tracks. a ticket is about 197 NOK (I swiped my card) one way. The bus usually have one way tickets that last an hour. The price is between 30-50 NOK (depending on if you buy it before or on the bus)
flytoget.no for timetables and prices for the train.(english)
ruter.no for the bus and tram.(english)
I hope this was of any help.

Hello! Our family of two stayed there for one night in June, and it was fine for our family. We did not use a travel crib, our children stayed in a bunk bed, but if you email the hotel desk they can answer your question. There was not a shared kitchen that I saw, but a breakfast cafe in the basement served breakfast. Sorry I could not help more.
