I needed just a room for the night, and ordered the cheapest one that wasn't in the city center. The area, called Vulkan is really nice, with a lot of restaurants and also a grocery store in the complex. Parking is available next to the hotel, 240 NOK for 24H. Close walking distance to my favorite part of Oslo, Grünerløkka.... More

I wasn't expecting much from the hotel as this was (if I remember right) the least expensive hotel I had I went to in my norway trip. I was pleasantly surprise. The hotel was a little hard to find as when I followed my gps it brough me to a scandic hotel, you just have to walk down the stairs... More

Very poor cleaning, had hair in the shower for three days, despite daily cleaning. Had to pay a large extra cleaning fee to bring our dog, but couldn't really see what we got for our money. When complaining about cleaning at checkout, the person at the counter commented that we had already had a very low price on the room,... More

It was my first trip to Oslo. The flight was cheap, and so did the hotel. "Cheap" in Oslo is not "cheap" really, but it was very good at price comparing to others similar. I was SO wrong from the beginning... I was tired, arrived to the hotel at 1AM (late flight) and the first thing the recepcionist tells me... More

We stayed on an excursion from the UK for a short weekend and the hotel was great. only a short walk to the centre, with large amounts of surrounding nightlife; yet not too much to stop you from sleeping. The breakfast has a strong selection and the rooms were good quality. Very friendly staff, I shall definitely return.

We booked this hotel as a family of 6. We booked 2 triple rooms. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The location is a 15 minute walk from the main train station. We walked with our backpacks on, but you can also take the... More

First I thought I was in a fairy tale when I entered the hotel... till I saw a tiny-tiny room with a double-deck bed... in a single room. Cleaning was shifting from day to day. One day it was almost perfectionistic, another day no much was seen to be cleaned, used towels removed and none of new or old ones... More

I come to Oslo a lot and I love staying here! Everyone at reception is so nice and always so helpful. If I ask questions about the buses for example, they go above and beyond to make sure I understand where I'm going or what I'm doing. A young man with tattoos and another man with glasses, hands up for... More

we walked to this hotel from the main train station in Oslo. Took about 15-20 minutes. But it's 15 minutes max if you go the direct way. Better to head for Mathallen via Brenneriveien as the entrance is opposite Mathallen rather than on Maridalsveien. Save a climb up Maridalsveien and then down a lot of steps. Huge windows in rooms... I stayed for one night and was impressed by this hotel. I love the location just beside Mathallen (Large food court). Staff was extremely polite and helpful, bed was comfortable, clean room, trendy atmosphere, breakfast was really tasty and my style. I will defiantly stay here again and recommend it to others.
