This hotel is cozy and clean. Food is really home made and breakfast are very complete with a Norwegian taste. The rooms are comfortable and for Oslo they have a very reasonable price. The hotel is close to all kind of public transport. Bars and restaurants are just out there, close to shops and supermarkets and also walking distance from...

This was the rarest of places - it felt a bit like home. It is a guest house in a convent and different to everything else. Accommodation/Facilities: The bedroom was pleasant and easy to sleep in. The dining room was homely. The sitting room is quite beautiful and restful. The library and book facilities are really nice. There is a...

If you are looking for a peaceful, value for money, well run, comfortable place to stay in Olso this is it. St Katarina's is very convenient for the city centre which can be reached on foot or by tram or metro. Clean rooms, good showers and excellent breakfast plus a lovely library and quiet spaces to catch up with emails...

This bed and breakfast is quite nice. Shared bathrooms and showers, simple and clean rooms, comfy beds and very close to the city center! The people are nice too, but there is a little bit of a language barrier. Though the most important info is in English other important things are not, which causes a little bit of a confusion...

Nice quiet clean hostel for students or travellers for seminars or concerences. Close to Vigeland park, 30 minutes from Central station and 15 minutes from Kings castle by foot. Clean and sunny room for breakfast and dinner, not a big choice but still tasty and sufficient. For this price a very good possibilty for city-break.

I stayed several times in Katarinahjemmet. It is a quiet place, but next to Bogstadveien where you can go shopping.Vigelandsparken or the castle for example are within walking distance and the local traffic stations are really close, too. The people living and working in Katarinahjemmet are very kind and helpful and I always felt home. It is quite international there....

Situated in a quiet street off the main road but with tram, underground and bus links to the airport close by, this is an ideal place to stay whilst visiting Oslo. It is warm and comfortable. The rooms are fairly basic, each with its own washbasin. Other facilities are very close. There is a good choice of food. I was...

I am a frequent visitor to KATARINAHJEMMET, a guesthouse run the Dominican Sisters, in a quiet part of Oslo only a few kilometres from the City Centre with the usual tourist attractions, shops and business facilities. I stay there every time I visit Oslo for Conferences. The rooms are comfortable, most having a balcony, with private shower and toilet facilities...

My husband and I spent five nights recently at Sta. Katarinahjemmet. It is the ideal accommodation for those who want to stay in Oslo at a reasonable price. They will find comfortable and very clean rooms with showers and toilets just opposite across the corridor. The Convent has a lot of space, a large dining room where an abundant breakfast...
