It's near most exclusive restaurants shops and feeling of fjords is just amazing. It's also very close to Nobel peace center and museums I always lived in Tjuvholmen that's why I feel home when am back from abroad.

My family and I booked a room for 30 days because I wanted to attend a Norwegian language course in Oslo in July 2010. I found the overall staying excellent because someone was always available at the help-desk during day-time, there was an internal gym (free of charge) and various common spaces, plus free coffee at any time from automatic machines (we were not able to understand how to operate the typical Norwegian home coffee machine available at our room). We could not arrive during the working time of the help-desk in order to receive the key of the room, so the help-desk told us to get in touch (via SMS by mobile phone) with a private guard once we arrived, who would have given us that key (which worked fine).

I stayed in one bedroom flat for several months. The building is located in a posh and happening district of Oslo with wonderful surroundings and nemerous restaurants and bars. The flat was spacious and amazing with all amenities. The staff are superb, kind and most helpful. I highly recommend this property for short/long stays in Oslo. It is truly worth the money.

We loved the location and convenience of our roomy apartment in Tjuvholmen which abounds in trendy restaurants and bars. The apartment was very well equipped with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. It was clean, secure and very comfortable. The only other downside as noted in other reviews is that you can't check in or out on weekends and if something goes wrong on a weekend it is difficult to get it fixed. We checked in on Friday afternoon and after reception had closed, we discovered that our wifi didn't work so we had to do without it for the whole of our three day stay. Otherwise, it is a very viable alternative to a hotel and we would have no hesitation returning.

The concept targets mostly business travelers, but it can also be a very good alternative for families and couples to pricey hotels in Oslo (but only if you’re not planning to stay a week-end). The price more or less the same as a double room in a typical run-down 4* hotel in the city center, but you get a much better comfort. The building is quite luxurious and the apartments are brand new, roomy and decorated in modern (but not too cold) Scandinavian style. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only reproach I would make about the place itself is the lack of light in rooms facing the little “square”. The location is excellent, just behind Aker Brygge (quay with lots of restaurants and bars), and close to public transportation. Otherwise, they offer the same range of services as a hotel: wireless internet, front desk, lounge, room cleaning, breakfast, etc., BUT… exclusively on weekdays. And this is the major issue with this place: don’t expect to be able to check in or out on a Sunday, or even after 5pm a weekday, because nobody will be there to help.…
