I had to cancel my trip in Norway, mine was a non refundable booking, but they charged no fees for the cancellation. I'm sure I'll choose this hotel next time I'll be in Tromsø. Thank you, see you next time.

I chose this hotel because it was really affordable. I think i got a decent value for money, though some of the facilities could be improved. The location is great. Basically one cross walk away from the city center and less than 10 minutes walk to most of the pickup points for any day trips or tours you may have. Breakfast was yummy though there aren’t a lot of options. The bed was really comfy - like I need that kind of mattress at home comfy. I didn’t understand why everyone is raving about the heated bathroom floors until I experienced it myself - wow it really is great hehe! It’s kinda basic though. I suppose you get what you pay for. There was no TV in my room, and it did get a bit quiet/boring. The room could have done with a hair dryer. They only seemed to clean the room every 2 days which would have been fine had there been another trash bin in the room. There’s only one small rubbish bin in the bathroom and it gets full really quick. The housekeeper didn’t seem to vacuum either, so eventually the floor became covered in fluffies from my cozy socks lol. The room could also do with its own coffee making facilities. You have coffee at breakfast and there’s coffee in reception but I like to have my coffee first thing I wake up and I don’t like leaving the room without makeup on so... i had to buy my own coffee from the supermarkets lol. Lastly, the room is really small. But it was okay as I didn’t spend too much time inside.

As they say you get what you pay for. For an expensive country like Norway hotel prices are seldom <S$200. This was. I am actually ok with the hotel but I would describe this as basic. Reaching the property by car was easy. I parked by the road and got directions to the private carpark behind the hotel. It cost NOK50 per night to park. The hotel has a lift and key card access after 11pm when the staff knocks off. In the room there was a bed; it is comfortable. There was a bedside unit, a drawer unit and an armchair. That's all. But the room is clean and warm. The heater works well. There was a private bathroom with liquid soap and toilet paper. They also provided 2 towels. Breakfast was just simple coffee, tea, juice, bread and spreads, salads, eggs, ham. It is sufficient, nothing fancy. The staff were helpful. The hotel is within walking distance from shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Wifi was good. If you don't like basic and prefer luxury then this is not good. But for me it was fine. I would have preferred at least a small tv for entertainment as winter nights are long. But of course that will cost. The "shower" is just shower curtains drawn to keep the water out, but no other demarcation. Would like a piece of floor cloth from when exiting the shower, to dry the feet.

My wife and I stay for 3 nights to see the northern lights Tromso isn't a cheap place and this hotel was by far the best priced considering location it's literally just minutes from the main Street area 10 mins walk to the artic cathedral and about 20 to the fjellhiesen cable car . The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a nice very hot shower . Breakfast was typical Scandinavian style you had a choice of cold meats cheeses pickles fish bread and condiments there was also cereal . Hot drinks avail throughout the day in reception . The staff were all friendly and very helpful Marvin was English from London which was helpful . Only thing I'd suggest would be a toaster for the breakfast eating area .. I'd recommend this hotel to family and friends .

Im staying only for one night, compared to other hotels I've lived in kn Scadanavia and back in Oslo, this one is the most rudimentary. Hotel keycards are slightly faulty, and this place isn't exactly close to Tromso's city centre, it's a bit more high up. There's a spiced aroma around my room, not sure if its intended but I don't really like it. The room is quite spatious but with very few amenities - no fridge, no hair-dryer, no boiler, not even a rubbish bin. Breakfast is very simple, there's basicslly nothing to eat exception from some ham, cheese, spreads and bread and cornflakes. Limited drink options - milk and orange juice, coffee and tea. They serve breakfast strictly by the hour and basically asks you to leave once the clock strikes 10am so don't expect to dwell around enjoying another cup of coffee as you watch leftover food being tidied up. It took me a lot of effort to get around to the hotel after I got off from the airport express bus's last stop. This place is not close to the stop at all. I asked the reception about other travel options and they explained the local bus 42 stopping behind the hotel also goes through the airport. The bus station info though was a mess. At least there's still an elevator for me to move luggage around...
