If we could redo anything about our Norway trip it would be to stay at Bed and Books the entire time. It was the perfect refuge from the snow, and wonderful place to come back and relax to after a day of exploring. Beds were comfortable, living area is inviting to work or relax in, bathrooms were clean, and Celia,...

As everything else in Tromsø was fully booked the weekend for my stay this was the last opportunity. Its a very central place, you can take the bus 42 from the airport to Polaria, and then walk 5 minutes. The house is by the mainroad so its easy to find. I was greeted by the host and some of the...

I got the double room only for 1 person because it was the cheapest option in tromso. It is like having your little apartment, but sharing toilet. It is really nice and comfortable. Only 10 minutes walk to the downtown, although to go back it is uphill and it can be a little tiring if you are not used to...

Dec 23rd - 26th 2016 - Fisherman's house - Private rooms, shared toilets and shower. We shared the house with two other travelers during our stay. Got along quite well with the other guests, ate meals together and even went on a Northern Lights search as a group. Easy walk to central Tromso, lots of communal pantry items for cooking...

Tromso Bed & Books is like an upmarket hostel with cooking and washing facilities included. We were midway through a cycling trip and this was our opportunity to wash our clothes. We were the only occupants of the five bedroomed “Writer’s House”, no time for reading anything from the extensive bookshelves unfortunately... washing, eating, sleeping then back on the bikes!

I've travelled extensively, staying in hostels far and wide, but this has to be one of my favorites. I stayed in the Writer's home, which was clean, quaint, and equipped with all of the cooking utensils and tourist info one could ever need. Even though I arrived after office hours, getting my key was simple, due to the prompt and...

If you're accustomed to the large chain hotels then like me maybe you need a change from time to time. An opportunity to feel like someone more than just a customer. At Bed & Books I felt like I was part of a home. Don't expect breakfast to be prepared and served unless a friend is managing this for you....

I really love this place! Staff is friendly and show you around the house as soon as you arrive. The wallpapers in all rooms are very pleasant to look at. The availability of books and DVDs make you want to just stay at the comfy sofa whole day. Facilities are quite complete too. Location is quite a walk from the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in March and had a great stay. The B&B is located just a 10 minute walk or less from city centre and it was so easy to get around. The area was quiet and we slept well! Easy checkin and checkout process, clean common areas full of warmth and intrigue, and...
