I was a bit disappointed if I am honest in terms of the hotel. It’s rated 5* and I felt it fell short in a couple of areas. The positives: - great central location - stunning suite on the 7th floor, vary spacious, lovely balcony, comfy bed and nice toiletries - cool boutique vibe and great cocktails of an evening - stunning location on the 8th floor for breakfast The negatives: - very noisy from the road which gave a disturbed nights sleep - at breakfast on Sat and Sun the staff were utterly overwhelmed. It was chaotic, nothing arrived on time or correctly and the buffet looked like a swarm of locusts has descended - the breakfast staff on the weekend were so overwhelmed that it affected their politeness, it wasn’t 5* service at all - three of our lights didn’t work, despite reporting this they didn’t resolve the issue for us - no turn down service…
Despite being short of staff still maintained great service at breakfast. Great breakfast with everything you can expect from a continental breakfast. The roof bar is nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but is not extraordinary. Nice location in the center of the city
I spent only one night in the hotel, but it was my third time and I really love the unique design and great location. During my last stay the staff was extremely helpful, they helped me to sort out a misunderstanding with my booking. 100% recommended
While location is perfect, close to the sights but in a quiet part of the city, the rooms were generally small. While service in general was good, our experience with concierge was frustrating. As our big family checked out, not all of our bags were returned to us and we only discovered the missing bags upon arrival in our next destination. When we contacted them about the incident, after a number of days of discussion, they were charging me €50 for mailing them to NL, saying it was my fault because I should have checked upon leaving. A disappointing and frustrating end to what could have been a good stay.
We only stayed one night while driving through Central Europe. We wanted a nice room in a location that was convenient for some sightseeing the next day. First the good: friendly front desk staff, possibility to park free in front of the hotel on weekends, good location for visiting major attractions, and a clean room. The desk gave us bottled water for our next part of the drive - thank you! Now the bad: Absolutely the strangest hotel room where I have stayed (I have stayed in road side motels, 5 star plus in New York and Paris, and most everything in between) - shower was a glass brick enclosure next to the bed, sink was in the room, strange decor in the style of bizarre. Fortunately the WC was in its own small closet sized space. No closet. Very dark. Overpriced - for one night or many nights. Pool is next to dining terrace on roof - we wanted to have a short swim in the morning - but not in front of people eating breakfast.…
My husband and I stayed last week for 4 nights to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The hotel has everything you need and more. The service from all staff was professional and attentive, they took time to speak to us personally. Breakfast was great, served in the grand etage and we were lucky enough to have good weather and ate on the outside terrace(with patio heaters if needed) We also had dinner, which again was amazing. We also ate at the restaurant downstairs, one of the staff accidentally turned into me and could not have been more apologetic. I couldn’t end without saying we hired a Vespa for the day, this was the highlight of the trip for my husband and we got to see lots more of this beautiful city. Thank you so much for helping make our stay special.…
I stayed at this hotel when I went to the opera one weekend. I wanted to be walking distance from most attractions and it was perfect. It saved us a lot of money on taxis. Breakfasts were the highlight of my day; they were so good! I ordered off the menu blueberry pancakes and eggs benedict daily. Buffet had an assortment of everything and views of the city from top floor were lovely. Very quiet rooms, comfortable beds and 2 kinds of pillows to choose from. The restaurant in the hotel is also wonderful. Elegant on inside tables and fun sidewalk cafes. Reservations are necessary since it is always full.
Watch out, they charge twice too much for the room and it’s very hard to get money back (I still didn’t succed) I don’t recomend this place at all. The hotel might be pretty and in good location, unfortunately they are highly unproffesional. I got charged twice for my hotel room. I called hotel immediately when I found out, they told me that it was a mistake and the amount of 420 euro will be unlocked on my account immediately. I waited 7 days and it was unlocked, but a day later they charged me again with same amount! I called them and contacted with booking, but they still tell me they don’t know why it happened and they need to figure it out. But time flies, and I still don’t get ant information, when I call the hotel, I only jest they can’t do nothing about it and ask for patience. I left this place 2 weeks ago and still didn’t receive my money back. I have never thought a big hotel like this can be such a fraud. I recomend everyone to pay only by cash there, cause it’s obvious cards and Your money on bank account are not safe there.…
A really nice hotel with excellent staff who are very welcoming and helpful. The room was so wonderfully different and proved an excellent base while exploring the wonderful city of Vienna. The breakfast buffet has such a huge selection to cater to all tastes, including both hot and cold items. The terrace of the hotel provides a lovely view of Vienna while having breakfast or enjoying the rooftop pool which is a perfect extra to this gem.
This Hotel has greatly contributed to a wonderful experience in Vienna. It is very well located, has all kind of services and everything looks clean and safe. My special gratitude to the concierge, the lobby and every single employee we met, since all of them have shown a customer orientation which is hard to find these days. I strongly recommend this Hotel for those who, like us, want to enjoy the beautiful city of Vienna.
