This was just a great location to discover Vienna and give us the envy to discover even more. Centrally located, nice location, nice surroundings and kind & great service. Eventhough we were there just after the Covid lockdown, the Mercure team made our stay perfect !

We were 3 nights in this hotel. We booked a Privilege room which was spacious and very clean. Also a big bathroom. The floor in the bathroom was very cold and the shower did not have enough water pressure. The beds were comfortable and the mini bar was included. Staff were all very friendly. At breakfast they left certain things to long out in the open and therefore these were getting dry (meat, cheese, cucumber) and not nice to eat anymore, The cucumber looked like it was ut there for several days. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of Vienna

We booked this hotel, but it turned out to be closed. The owners only informed us weeks after booking and shortly before traveling. They rebooked us to another branch very nearby, stating that it would have the same quality (mercure Wien Zentrum). Meanwhile other hotel rates had increased so we had little choice to accept, but we regretted it during our stay. The hotel room was very hot as the AC doesnt work properly during the Viennese summer. Opening the window was not an option. All windows are street facing. Our room was directly above the entrance with noise from people entering and leaving, but also of loud drivery trucks than kept their engines running. Complaints were not addressed during our stay.

My friend and I , we had a lovely time in Wien and also at this hotel. We checked in late in the evening and went straight to the room; bed was very comfortable and spotless room. Twin bed as requested, even though at the time I reserved was not available, they arranged to do so (thanks). We did not have breakfast, however we went to have a look, and it looked nice. Next time, we will try breakfast! The hotel is well located , in town centre. You can easily walk everywhere, apart from if you would like to visit Schonbrunn Palace - you have to go by metro . Also is well connected to go by bus to the airport, it takes only 20 minutes. I really appreciate the staff at reception.
