    Below expectations
I have mixed feelings regarding the hotel. The guy at check-in wasn’t friendly, didn’t give us any details regarding breakfast time/wi-fi and so on. Not a big deal, but still. Then we had a very unpleasant surprise in the room - dirty toilet (with dried urine on it). We complained to the same guy at reception, he didn’t even apologize but at least he sent a cleaner to the room. Other staff members were polite and attentive, breakfast was rich and delicious. But because of lack of cleanness, don’t think I’ll ever come again.
Thank you very much for your feedback, and the time you have taken for it! First of all we want to thank you because of your kind words about our breakfast buffet, we will definitely share this with our colleagues. Because of the unfriendly check-in and the incorrectly cleaned room we're definitely sorry! That's not the standard we want to represent or the way how we treat our guests. We informed already the housekeeping department about this issue, to make sure this will not happen again. Maybe you want to give us a second chance to convince you of us and our hotel! Best regards from Vienna Johannes Bemmerl A. Front Office Manager

Very good, but not quite superb
This rather nice hotel is conveniently situated just a short walk from the Rennweg SBahn Station, OK it’s not slap bang in the middle of Vienna, but it’s only a few stops with one change to the Stephenplatz, 2 stops to the main station and the 71 tram will take you up to the Karlsplatz. The hotel is also next to the famous Belvedere Art Gallery and gardens, the museum should not be missed. Don’t take a taxi from the airport, the taxi ride cost me 50Eu but the train back to the airport was only 4.6Eu. Even though its on a fairly busy road, the rooms are quiet, my room on the 5th floor had no traffic noise at all. Breakfast is first class with wide choice of dishes, only the champagne and strawberries were missing. But the hotel does have its weak points, the air conditioning keeps the room at a perfect temperature, but it might wake you if it clicks on in the middle of the night. The wifi is erratic, usually works fine, but them stops working for no apparent reason. The hotel doesn’t have much in the way of a lounge where you might relax with friends, just a few tables and chairs in front of a drinks cabinet. Neither does it have a bar. You help yourself from a modest range in the drinks cabinet and pay for your drinks at the reception. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which can be a nuisance if it raining and you don’t want to go out. I would recommend the Ristorante Pizzeria Santa Lucia at Salesianergasse 10, come out of the hotel turn left and it’s the 2nd turning of the right. The hotel has an unusual “green” service; if you don’t want to have your room serviced you can claim one free drink a night. All in all, maybe good value for money, I would happily stay there again, but I can’t quite stretch to the word superb.
Dear Mr. Raymond, thank you very much for your candid review of your recent stay at our hotel. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay. We greatly appreciate your comments about aspects of the hotel that need updating. It is a pleasure to announce that we will be implementing many of these upgrades to the property within the next couple of months. Our rooms will be getting new mattresses, bed skirts, window treatments, carpeting, in-room accessories, and much more! In taking great care of our charming hotel, our main priority is to be able to offer a very well-maintained and comfortable atmosphere. We hope that we can convince you to change your mind about another visit to our property. Best regards, Diana Sirghie, Receptionist

    Great Hotel with personal service
We found the hotel by chance while stuck in Vienna due to difficulties traveling back to China. We booked a room on multiple occasions with very short notice and they were always very helpful. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by parks and tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the breakfast is as good as it can. We especially loved the farm cheese served freshly baked every morning.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay at our property. Your business is very important to us and we value your feedback. By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future. We would welcome the opportunity to welcoming you back to our hotel soon. If we can be of further assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thank you again for taking the time to write your review. We appreciate your loyalty to our property. Sincerely, Georg Pollerus Front Office Manager

Internet basically not existing in the room, no telephone, very small bedsheets, this hotel does not meet Hyatt hotel group standards! Rooms are old and need reburbishment. The hotel has a decent location, but i cannot recommend it !

By far the worst customer service I've experienced at any Hyatt branded hotel, with the exception of the breakfast chef (I have dietary allergies and he was very helpful making me something I could eat). The front desk staff are either still confused about Hyatt benefits or are purposely trying to nickel and dime customers. Hyatt Globalist and guest of honor benefits were repeatedly not honored without first a phone call to the Globalist customer service line (free breakfast, upgrade to standard suite upon availability, etc). Do yourself a favor and stay at the Andaz instead.

Nice hotel above a large quiet but busy mall. Great food options, and easy tram into the city. Grocery store was a bonus for saving on food. The Hotel had nice view of the city. Staff were friendly and understood our English.

No bathroom door, air conditioner not working properly, room looked tired and wasn’t functional. Contacted staff about air conditioner and was told to basically deal with it as he was on the night crew and to wait for the am staff.

This hotel is average but is nice and in a nice area of Vienna so the lack of security of the elevators is less important. The towels (in 2 rooms) had been washed with dish towels so they smelled - did report this to reception and they said they would take action. If you forego maid service then the mini bar is free … and this hotel had a good range of sodas and beer to choose from. We didn’t mind since we only stayed two nights. The third night we stayed at the Andaz… which was far better… amazing roof top bar, great breakfast and free wine tasting… location wasn’t great to get to everything, but it was next to the train station so it is great the next day when we took the train. Next time I’d stay at the Andaz and get taxis instead of staying at the Lindner which is about 2kms from the action (so we walked everywhere).

Disrespectful experience by the night attendant Mark. Had booked twin beds. We come to see that they'd given us a room with one bed that is technically two attached beds. Asked Mark if we could please have a roller bed so that we'd have two beds like we booked. He aggressively refused, and told us to manually split the beds and the bedding. It was midnight, which is why was asked for an extra roller bed. When my wife explained that it would be difficult for her now to split the bed, he said in a very aggressive tone "even a child could do it". He raised his tone of voice a lot, never had an experience like this before , especially at a Hyatt. This was such a bad experience that we checked out two days early. By the way, not sure which child can push apart two beds that aren't on wheels and redo all the bedding. Not sure how this hotel has the Hyatt name attached. Disappointed by a brand that I've trusted for years. As a side note, one of the rooms had a strange odor from the bathroom, but checked out anyways before we could inquire about it.

We paid for the wellness suite 721 on the 7th floor. The day we arrived reception offered us free mini bar if we did not require the room to be cleaned. As soon as we stepped in the shower or attempted to wash our hands in the sink, there was no liquid soap. Many of the TV channels never worked for our entire stay. Wifi is slow and unreliable. Breakfast is highway robbery at €30 per person daily. Gym is closed for the last 6 months. The bed was comfortable. This hotel does not represent the Hyatt brand and I will not return here again.

A bit far from the center, breakfast was pretty good, otherwise everything else was like a 2 star hotel. Gym and Sauna was closed for z indefinite period. Bar was a pretty poor experience. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.
