Situated in Vienna's Goldenes Quartier, overlooking Am Hof square, this beautiful Park Hyatt property occupies a 100-year-old listed building that formerly served as the headquarters of a Bank. The hotel is located within Vienna's First District and sits within the heart of the most exclusive shopping district in Vienna, just steps away from the celebrated fashion houses. Featuring 143 spacious guestrooms, including 42 suites, Park Hyatt Vienna's guestrooms are amongst the largest in the city, ranging in size from 35 sq m to 170 sq m, brilliantly combining contemporary style with local Viennese accents. Guests will discover rare and intimate experiences tailored to meet any individual preferences. Taking pride of place in what was once the cashier hall, The Bank Brasserie & Bar has the wow factor. There is super-stylish blue velvet seating, marble walls, gold statues and two open show kitchens in which chefs create fine dishes using produce from villages near Vienna. The wine list showcases both local vineyards and international wines. The Bank Brasserie is open for daily buffet breakfast, plus a daily changing Plat du Jour and à la carte lunch and dinner. On Sundays, there’s a special Wiener Gabelfrühstück, which translates as Vienna luncheon, where small bites and tasting dishes are served at brunch and lunch time for late-risers. The Bank Bar presents specially created premium cocktails, remembering the time of the former Bank, concentrating on the human senses and the gentlemen’s club atmosphere of the Living Room is perfect for post-dinner brandies. Accessible from the hotel lobby as well as through a separate entrance, the authentic coffeehouse, named Café Am Hof, is a modern venue with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a charming view out onto the Bognergasse. Serving a grand selection of homemade pastries, featuring Viennese coffee specialties as well as little snacks, Café Am Hof is the place where long-time residents meet the city’s international guests. For relaxation, guests can retreat into the tranquil sanctuary of Arany Spa and indulge in a selection of exclusive body treatments and facials. Moreover, the hotel hosts an extensive hotel fitness centre and indoor swimming pool for exercise. There are gold leaf floor tiles on the 15-metre heated indoor pool in what was once the bank’s underground vault. You’ll find a full treatment menu in The Arany Spa, plus a sauna, steam room, gym, couples’ treatment room and vitality shower room. With 24-hour room service and concierge, multilingual staff, valet parking and limousine airport transfer and a VID (Very Important Dog) service, the hotel anticipates guests’ every whim. Best of all, some of Vienna’s must-see spots are right on the doorstep, including Hofburg Palace, St Stephen’s Cathedral, the ancient Am Hof square and the Golden Quartier, the city’s pedestrianised luxury shopping district.

The Park Hyatt Vienna is located inside a former bank Palais within the borders of Vienna's Inner City and surrounded by luxurious boutiques. Most major places of interest for tourists can be reached on foot in few minutes and most underground as well as an abundance of tram lines are available in closest proximity. Nonetheless, the historic square the hotel faces is very calm, which adds to the building's exceptional charm. Speaking of the building: The palace-like premise is decorated in a unique Art Deco style and even if you do not choose the Park Hyatt as an accommodation, you should absolutely have dinner in the probably most extraordinary dining room we have ever witnessed. But even the most delightful environment, a huge and most beautifully decorated room or the most professional and friendly welcome by guest experience employee Claudia were not able to distract us from the milk-like coloured water from the sink, which had us refrain from drinking tab water at the hotel. This was a shame due to the normally extremely high water quality in Austria. Furthermore, the air conditioner did not work at all and our room was extremely hot, which was very unpleasant on a hot summer day. After having placed our complaint at the front desk, no technician had been able to fix the situation and only after a personal check, Concierge Karim, who supported us in the friendliest and most diligent way imaginable, took matter into his own hands and upgraded us to an amazing Suite facing the town square. The bed was perfectly comfortable, the marble bathroom left no desire dissatisfied and the most spacious and pleasant rain shower added to an extraordinary vibe of luxury. Finally, the air conditioner worked all fine, but already in the next morning it broke down, alongside one of the curtain controls and the "Do not disturb" function. What an annoying start into the new day! We were lucky though, Claudia was shocked to hear about our most recent encounter with technical malfunctions. She personally made sure that all errors were taken care of on the same morning and she even sent a chilled bottle of Bollinger Champagne to our room, which made us forget anything we may had disliked earlier. Another wonderful add-on was the breakfast, which is for sure one of the best we have ever had: From local egg specialties to the freshest and juiciest fruit salad one can imagine the a la carte selection left no wish unfulfilled. Furthermore, the coffee, the sparkling wine and especially the breakfast location and service were outstanding. Our special thanks to Adriana who spoiled us with her service from heart, which will remain unforgotten despite the impression that she and her colleagues were understaffed at times. Another aspect we would like to mention is the very effective housekeeping team: our room was always perfectly clean and also the turn-down service worked perfectly - even despite the currently difficult business environment. Upon check-out the team even removed 50 percent of one room rate from our invoice to make us forget our bumpy start. We must state that in total, there would have been no better or more extreme ways to deal with our early dissatisfactions than those chosen by the hotel to make up. Thanks to Claudia, Karim, Adriana and their colleagues we will remember the Park Hyatt as one of our top hotel experiences worldwide.

We stayed at this hotel for one night only on our way to Croatia. It's a beautiful, ideally located hotel in the center of Vienna. The basic room was modern, larger than expected, with a large bathroom. The bed and the mattress were very comfortable; thus, it enabled the good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. The common areas, as well as the entire hotel, are well maintained, the staff is very professional and courteous. Forty euros per day underground parking is available nearby. When I am back in Vienna, I will definitely be staying here again.

Would like to first and foremost thank Valentina for checking us in smoothly for our family upon arrival. First impressions go a long way and she was very helpful and kind. Rooms are fantastic: Comfortable, great ventilation, spacious, showers are amazing. Location is spot on central: Within minutes of the shopping street and museums by foot. Staff: Were all helpful and cordial. Service is top notch. Meets all expectations for a 5 star stay. Only regret is not being able to stay longer. Thank you to the World of Hyatt team for making our stay pleasant.

My stay at the Park Hyatt was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is convenient to the best areas of Vienna to visit (museums, restaurants, shops, etc.). The staff was very helpful, the room service was stellar, and entire experience was enjoyable.
