We stayed for six days, and loved it. It is extremely convenient for the museums of the Museum Quarter, and if you walk through that Quarter, you are heading for more great museums, the Hofburg, and so on. All the staff were cheerful and friendly....More
This is the second time we have stayed at the Das Tyrol--and it did not fail to delight! We love the hotel's location, close to major sights and transportation (though it was often not necessary), and near affordable shopping (including a small grocery store, convenient...More
We stayed here with our elder parents for three nights. Everything was perfect. The breakfast is amazing. The front desk staff is really really helpful. We wish we could stay longer. The location is great too. Very nice shopping and restaurants near by the hotel...More
This is lovely little luxury hotel located at the lower end of Mariahilfer Str very near the Museum Quarter in Vienna. It's perfectly located for easy access to many of the main attractions in central Vienna and also close to the U Bahn for trips...More

Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with
its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.

They have both a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant was closed for a special event the night we stayed, but the bar was open and it is a very comfortable place to wind down the evening. Not a large space, but welcoming.

I think 7.30 would be the earliest you could get breakfast here. It's a pretty universal time to begin breakfast in hotels, but you could try asking them whether they would be willing to serve you very early. They do serve continental breakfast as well as cooked dishes.
I hope this helps.
