Our trip to stay at the Palais Coburg in Vienna was 5 days long and it was not long enough! I was delighted by the Palais Coburg and all of its luxurious amenities. The pool and fitness center were delightful, bright, and sparkling clean. The staff was wonderfully warm and helpful. Tamara, Asheesh, Philip, “Maverick”, Krisztina, & others at the front desk went above and beyond with incredibly attentive, informative, and kind service. Breakfasts in the conservatory were scrumptious and the Winter Garden Conservatory was a bright an airy venture for our delicious meals. Our suite was sumptuous and well-appointed, with gorgeous high ceilings, large windows, and an array of specialty items to make us feel at home and welcome. The fridge was stocked with waters and beverages, and snacks, which was so thoughtful and appreciated after two full days of travel from the West Coast of the USA to Europe. Housekeeping was attentive, quiet, and left the suite sparkling every day and night. Couldn’t be more pleased with our stay and we can’t wait to return. Danke!…
We have just returned from staying here and I do not usually write reviews but felt I must. The hotel is beautiful and suite we had ( Dom Fernando) lovely but what really made it was the staff. The reception team were fabulous helping us to navigate the world of testing and vaccine emails, even calling the test centre for us. The attention to detail was outstanding. Every member of staff wished our son Happy Birthday despite us never mentioning it, even giving him a birthday surprise at breakfast.Nothing was too much trouble. If only every hotel gave such a high level of service. Thank you for a wonderful stay I do hope we can return one day.
No wonder that this is one of the best luxury hotels of the world, every detail is thought after and every suite is unique and amazingly designed and presented. The Michelin restaurant is to die for the wine cellars and there are 6 of them is one of the most luxurious in the world with 60,000 bottles of the best wines valued dozens of millions of dollars in first class unique wines.
This hotel is super luxurious, and was originally a Palace. Even the lead in room category is stunning, as is a suite, and a very luxurious and spacious suite as well, set over 2 levels. The room is so lovely, it is tempting not to leave, but leave you must to enjoy both the hotel, and the delights of Vienna. The hotel has amazing meeting rooms, so great for a family party, or a wedding, and part of the old city walls, form part of the hotel. For history buff's this is a must, as it is steeped in history, and previous royal occupants and their relatives adorn the walls. There is a lovely garden, especially in Spring and Summer, as well as a great bar and wine cellar. The restaurant serves a limited breakfast menu, however everything is cooked to perfection, and so fresh and flavoursome, the lack of options does not matter. This is a great place to stay, to feel you are part of the history of Vienna, but central and luxurious at the same time.…
The best small hotel in Vienna. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is nice even service is not so fast. Sasha on the entrance made me feel like very welcome guest. Internet was ok. Room service works. Spa is nice.
This is a hotel/residence that can't quite make up its mind. The place is quite minimal in ambiance and decor, but very roomy. The staff is very helpful and the restaurants (dinner and breakfast) are excellent (but slow). The major drawback: the fitness room is terrible. They know it and were more than helpful in getting us into the fitness facility at the Marriott, a two minute walk.
Very historical and rich with authentic architecture details place - huge spaces, many levels, lovely bar interior and very friendly reception. I am visiting a course there, but the location itself is precious.
Great people, great hotel, great restaurant - everthting Is just so Nice bot pricy. Winebar and the restaurant upstairs and outside is a fantastic place to spend lunch in the middel og the day. We will be back!
the smallest rooms in the hotel are already over 2 floors and really big. the service that everything which is in the fridge is included is a nice gesture, incl. a bottle Pol Roger Champagne. there are just some minor things which are disappointing like the cigar lounge which has the charm of a railway-station with old used furniture and a really bad smell, the non existing movie channels in the room and the old fashined TV sets. the breakfast could have more choices
It took me a little time to settle on which Hotel to stay in for my birthday in Vienna. Thankfully it was all my choice as I was paying and with a little research, knowing my preference was classical and the various places I wanted to visit I decided to stay in Palais Coburg Residenz. I had frequent contact ahead of my trip from a Guest Experience manager who helped me to co-ordinate any requests, transfers, preferences etc. Its quite thorough as they obviously want to make sure that visitors get what they want, now and in the future. My son and I were met at arrivals and taken to the hotel for check in which was seamless even though a large ball was happening that evening and the hotel was busy. We were upgraded from a Residenz suite to a Palais Suite which was very kind ( it was my birthday) and the Loft room had a stunning view of St Stephens Cathedral which I had requested. The room was incredibly spacious, courtesy mini bar ( incl a delicious bottle of champagne) giant bath, yoga mat and valhrona chocolates at bedtime!! The breakfast in Clementine Restaurant are delicious with a vast selection from incredibly healthy to decadent. Every time we left the hotel my son and i were greeted and spoken to by staff who were all friendly and welcoming, most importantly they knew who we were, it felt personal rather than us dissolving into a crowd of guests. I am an independent traveler so needed little from the reception or concierge but I knew if I did I could ask and they would do everything in their power to help. This is an incredibly beautiful, classical and historical hotel, this is expensive, but in my experience it is as welcoming as a friend's home. I will definitely be back.…
