Poor and really bad mattress. There was a lot of time I have seen a mattress bad like this. For the rest just average: calm room and not bad desktop. For a little more money you will have better options. Not really far from the center. Reeealy poor breakfast
I'll admit that I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the word "hostel", but Safestay is so much more than a typical hostel! The property is a modern, stylish hotel, perfectly located in Vienna and accessible to tourists of every budget. The room was extremely comfortable, with windows that opened to the inner atrium. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The complementary breakfast was a nice perk as well. The location is conveniently near a metro stop and close to most tourist sites around Vienna. Safestay Vienna exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will definitely consider staying at other Safestay locations in the future.
The stay in SafeStay was really nice. The rooms though really small was very clean. The washroom also was clean but lacked some basic amenities like tooth brush/paste. The biggest advantage of staying here is that it is so close to public transportation with metro 300 metres away and bus just 50 m away. The breakfast in the hotel was also nice with a spread of breads, cakes, juices and some hot items like scrambled eggs. Overall this is a good option to stay in Vienna.
Safestay Vienna / Austria. Schönbrunner Straße 41, 05. Margareten, 1050 Vienna, Austria Nice little hotell mittle of Vienna (Austria). Official category 4 stars. We give a strong 3+ 1 night with discount 58.50euro. I think a little too high. Location was good. Everything was walking distance. Room was clean and simple (all youre need one night stand). Breakfast was also simple. So that was exactly for me except coffee. One big minus was also. Payment by card only. Our Rating Price 6.5/10, room 7/10, location 7,5/10, services 7,2/10, cleanliness8/10 breakfast 8/10, coffee 6/10, wifi 8/10. Total Rating 7,2 / 10 Good.
This hotel was a real find and deserving of a 5 rating. Excellent value, particularly with breakfast which was much better than I thought it would be, with real choice. Decent room size and cute little courtyard with table, chairs and parasol which was nice to sit out in and read some of the magazines thoughtfully provided. The weekend was a mother (83) and daughter excursion after a successful holiday the previous year in Marrakech. Unfortunately, we did get caught in a torrential downpour seeking a taxi back from the Schonbrunn Palace but Ferenc, concerned to see my mother shivering, helped out with a portable heater which he brought to our room and an extra blanket. This trip was last year, so an overdue shout out of thanks and looking at some recent reviews, it looks like this hotel continues to shine in Vienna!…
I am a solo female traveller. I just left Barcelona where I stayed at the Safestay on Paseo de Gràcia which was terrific on so many levels. Impressed with the brand I booked my next stop in Vienna at Safestay as well. Well hello four star hotel!! Clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet room with great bathroom stocked with fluffy towels, nice bathtub and full power shower. The hotel has just had a referb so everything is box fresh and squeaky clean. There is a lovely courtyard downstairs where you can lounge and sip coffee in the summer sun as well as a comfortable seating area near reception where you have breakfast or cocktails before going out in the evening. I love that breakfast is available from 7:30am to 11am as I slept like a log in the comfy beds and could still saunter down late and have breakfast. Sandrina the Manager is a gem. She is so welcoming, made sure I was happy and satisfied with everything. She knows Vienna like the back of her hand so can point you in the right direction for whatever you need. The location of the Hotel is ideal, very central and walking distance to the “naschmarkt (night market) which is not to be missed if you’re a foodie. Well, I’m off again to my next destination... Safestay Vienna has certainly raised the bar!…
Safestay Vienna is a very clean place to stay in a good location. The most of the sightseeings are on a walking distance if you don't have mind to walk. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty with enough choice. Really good price for this quality.
I booked the hotel via booking 2 weeks before check-in date. One day before our arrival they called me and told that they can't accomodate us and they arranged that we can stay at another hotel. I asked for a written confirmation. Never got one. Tried to call that other hotel - nobody is picking up. Nobody is answering my emails. I still don't know if I have accomodation for tomorrow. I also contacted support at booking, they promised to get it figured out, but I still have no confirmation. I can't cancel Safestay booking, because they called me after the cancellation was for free. If they would have called before - no problem. I cancel reservation - book another hotel. But they waited until I can't cancel for free anymore and called right after that.
Good Location and easy check in .Booked through booking .com.recommend Nice room plenty of space and no problem with food in the room, supermarkets close by and do try the SIXTA restaurant 2 min walk. Two small issues , Cleaned the Air Conditioning fan coil unit filter myself as the room wasn't heating very well .The filter was completely blocked . Dont book a taxi to the airport through the Hotel to expensive,go on line and Book it yourself . Other than that would recommend this hotel .
We’ve loved Safestay Vienna!! It’s a beautiful hotel, with breakfast available in the morning and coffee/tea available all day in the lobby. The room is modern, clean and VERY comfortable. The shower/bathroom are huge and updated. The location is near lots of bars and restaurants, and a short distance to the city center. The location is also very convenient for public transit, situated right next to a bus stop and a short under 4 minute walk to the Pilgrimstrasse ubahn station. Staff is very friendly as well!!!
